"Fair treatment from them."

Fair treatment from them.
Bought a miniature Camera for my Granddaughter, did not pay much for it, but was disappointed when it arrived, nothing like the one featured on the listing.
I complained to Jobalots sending them photos and a comparison with the photos on the listing. They responded very well and after an exchange of couple of emails they refunded my money.

"Customer service is woeful"

The concept of what they do is sound, and I haven't had any delivery issues.
However, the customer service is terrible / non existent.
Never had a reply to a query I emailed a couple weeks ago.
Today I won and auction, but then discovered that I hadn't and it had gone for a higher price after the auction had ended. I have seen this issue complained about by other users.
All businesses go through bad periods, but Jobalots just seem to have buried their heads in the sand.

And just one extra note of caution to fellow buyers - avoid items of the Challenger and Bush brands - these are Argos returns and in the main need to go straight in the bin. The Amazon returns tend to be a lot better.

There is so much bad stuff to review about this company and very little good. Support staff are useless and ignore emails when they cant resolve issues. AVOID THIS COMPANY! 😱😱

"They clearly don't deserve these bad reviews "

Yes, this applies to the period up until they made the suicidal mistake to install this new theme for the website (and I made them aware of it since the first day they went live with the new "upgrade"). Unfortunately, this CEO that was so excited about the change before making it, looks like is too proud to fix it and accepts to destroy the business instead.... And this is sad.... On top of that , they list the start prices on the bids as discounts (e.g. 90 % off) for raw returns which makes no sense and it is absolutely ridiculous and disgusting. You can't call it "discount" when it is about RAW returned items (zero QC or grading). It is like I'd get rubbish from the bin and sell it discounted just because I only know what items have been dumped in there.
I used to be a diamond buyer(£4k+ per month). Now I don't understand what's going on so I won't even bother anymore. Too bad...
Anyway, they don't deserve this rating (in my opinion) as during all my experience with them there were NEVER major issues and the customer service was always spot on.(luv' ya Amy).
I wait for them to wake up and do the right thing and I'll be back in business as previously.

"Initially, I was dissatisfied because I received the wrong package and had to return the item. During this time, I sent several emails but did not receive quick responses. After about 3 weeks, the issue was resolved, and I got my money back. Although it took quite a long time to recover my money, I appreciate that the situation was ultimately resolved. However, I recommend improving the communication process and handling of returns

"I'm giving this review on my last few…"

I'm giving this review on my last few years with jobalots. I can honestly say I would have lost my house after a break up if it wasn't for the money I have made using this company. I started buying pallets and re selling them and it very much kept me financially afloat. Since then, I have set my own retelling business and haven't looked back. The customer service is amazing, never missing any items. The only issues iv had is with delivery companies and they have given me such help with any problems iv had.
They switched over to a new Website a couple of months ago, yes its not worked great. Iv no need to go into any details as most negative reviews on here are from this period but I have faith that they will all be fixed soon and jobalots will be back giving us the amazing bargains and customer service.
Iv found it sad reading some of these reviews from long standing customers who've stated before the new Website they were 100% happy so thought I'd leave this review as a bit of support. I'm sure jobalots are more unhappy at the new website launch but I'd be more unhappy at the lack of loyalty and support from customers who've made huge sums of money from them over the years and also had many years of their excellent customer service 👏

"Not replying to emails !"

Dear [Customer Service Team/Relevant Department],

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I have recently experienced. This stems from the lack of response to my emails and issues that could have been easily resolved had your company replied promptly.

Since your website update, accessing it has become incredibly frustrating. The platform frequently displays errors such as "fetch failed," making it difficult to navigate. I have been a loyal customer and have consistently fulfilled my payment obligations, missing an auction payment only once. On that occasion, the system automatically processed the payment using my card details on file, which I found convenient.

However, with the new website, when I recently missed a payment, not only was my account penalized and blocked for two weeks, but your system also failed to process the payment automatically as it had before. Instead, I received approximately 10 emails at 2 a.m. reminding me of the payment. People need to sleep, and I could have addressed this issue promptly the next morning if I had been able to access my account.

To make matters worse, your company has not responded to emails I have sent. The "help" link provided in your reminders (hello at jobalots com) returned an error stating "address not found." This is unacceptable, as customers rely on such communication channels for resolution.

Additionally, a company of your size should provide a working customer service phone number on your website for addressing urgent queries. Unfortunately, the number currently displayed appears to be non-functional, which further adds to the frustration.

Overall, I am deeply dissatisfied with this experience and urge you to take immediate action to address these issues. The current level of service is far below what I have come to expect from your company.

I look forward to your prompt response and a resolution to this matter.

"Don't buy any electronic in joblot…"

Don't buy any electronic in joblot especially customer returns after the changes now they bring used item that have been used for almost 10years and they were written not to be sold but they sell anyway, these days the joblot is not the same,they sold kettle that has glass broken?, really I can't believe they tarnish the website I bought 500pound worth of products and all are very much defective not a little can't be used even after repair

"I have spent HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS…"

I have spent HUNDREDS if not THOUSANDS over the past year on this site. At first it was brilliant.
But as if ordered electronic pallets lately about 80% of the stuff they have sent is BROKEN I spent over a £800 and I have about 5 kettles to show for it.
Absolute piss take of a site. Since the updated site, it’s crap. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I’d rather spend more in JOHN Pye than this shit
