Court Enforcement Services

"Absolute disgrace of a company"
Several days ago I received a letter through the post claiming that I owed a large sum of money to a company I have never heard of nor have ever had any dealings with.
The letter claimed to have a "writ of control" order issued by Northampton County Court on my home address, having spoke to Court Enforcement Services on the phone to explain I believed this was nothing to do with me, I got advised they couldn't do anything and to contact the company who's name was on the letter,
The company on the letter has no phone number, does not reply to emails and has a string of online reviews claiming they are a scam company.
After a lengthy chat with Northampton County Court they told me that Court Enforcement Services did not have a "writ of control" on my address as they claimed to do so in their letter, they told me that the only thing that matched on it was my name, no addresses, no previous addresses absolutely nothing.
The court also told me that Court Enforcement Services cannot claim to have a court order against an address when they do not! Yes you may have a court order against someone with the same name as me, that does not give you the authority to send me a letter claiming to have any form of court judgement against my property when you do not....
If anyone is looking for a debt collection company I wouldn't touch this lot with a barge pole, if anyone is receiving letters from them I would also check with the court that they have even bothered to get the correct person as well.
Shambolic...

"I can fully recommend the services…"
I can fully recommend the services provided by Court Enforcement Services. I had almost resigned myself that I would never get my money owed to me by this individual. The County Court Bailiffs proved to be useless so I escalated the case to High Court and I am very pleased I did. I have now recovered the money owed to me.

"Waste of money to add to losses caused by debtor"
Waste of money to add to losses caused by debtor.
My suggestion is NOT to waste your money with this company. We won a court case on 10th December 2020. On 4th February 2020, as debtor had not paid us, we paid Court Enforcement “Services” (in quotations as they do not provide a service) to obtain our money. Court Enforcement “Services” did nothing early on except take our payment to them- they were very quick about that. Then there was lockdown and Court Enforcement “Services” always used that excuse to not try to obtain our money. They did not obtain our money in the interim period of 51 days between being paid and lock down on 26th March 2020. There was the compliance period until February 24th which appears to be their time to get paperwork in order. I am just very glad that they are not medical doctors, or we would all be dead!
Then, when lockdown eased in summer 2020, the excuse was that they were too busy catching up with other clients. Court Enforcement “Services” always had an excuse- sounded very similar to our debtor as to why they could not try to get our money.
I wrote to Court Enforcement “Services” on 21st September 2020. They did not reply, so I telephoned them, as a second lockdown was inevitable – as a doctor I could see that. They then wrote in response saying “there are delays on visits being made due to the current circumstances.” Nothing had occurred by 3rd October 2020, so I emailed again and they wrote back on 7th October “I appreciate the frustration here, but our agent are currently working”. No apology or offer of refund for money wasted as they were not working on our case.
I then heard nothing from Court Enforcement “Services”, from 28th October 2020 to an eventual response from them to my email to Court Enforcement “Services” of 18th March 2021. Court Enforcement “Services” wrote “the onus is on you as the Claimant to pursue recovery.” I think that ells any person considering employing them what they need to know.
I then needed something different but easy for Court Enforcement “Services” to provide and it would eventually help me obtain my owed money. It was proof for a solicitor acting for the debtor's ex-partner, that we had employed bailiffs to try to obtain the money. This needed to be a set piece that did not include any identification of us, for our safety, so I wrote it for them, as some legal training, to save their time. They refused to send this and emailed us saying: “We are unable to provide the statement that you have requested and you already have in your possession the timeline reports relative to this case. We cannot provide any further information over and above what you have already been sent.” They did not seem to understand that as the time line reports included our name and contact details, which I had explained we needed to not be in the statement, a simple statement that they had attempted to obtain our money was all I needed. That was too much for them. I suggest that you avoid and read the other bad reviews too.

"Exceeded Expectations !"
Instructing Court Enforcement Services to try to retrieve the money I was owed was a last throw of the dice for me. I thought the money was lost having been through the small claims process and the County Court and having had no response from the debtor.
Soon after my initial enquiry I was contacted by Irvine who took me through the process in a friendly down to earth manner. I paid the £66 cost of the High Court Writ and CES did the rest. When I received an e-mail with report a few weeks later to say the debt had been recovered in full, I was very surprised but delighted.
I instructed CES more in hope than expectation, but I guess it shows that sometimes we need someone on our side who understands the business of debt and is willing to stand up to those who seek to cheat us.
I would advise anyone who is struggling to recover a debt, to consider instructing Court Enforcement Services.

"I'll start with the good part"
I'll start with the good part: I finally received the judgment sum in full.
The not so good part is that someone made a mistake in the paperwork and the writ had to be run through the High Court again.
Also I was not satisfied with the communication - I received several surprising emails during the course of the matter and had to write back simply to obtain some explanation. First it was unclear why the initial writ was unusable, and second they sent me the payment in two parts for some reason, and I initially thought the first payment is all they recovered as the email had no comments whatsoever.

"Need help ask this company"
This company is totally professional. They are always there if you need any help. I never thought i would get this money back but with their help i succeeded. It is a very easy process and it does not take that long from start to finish. It only costs you £66.00 so if anyone out there needs to recoup some money use them.

"Fantastic service"
I had to instruct the Court Enforcement Services, after the defendant failed to pay just over 9k that was owed to me by a rogue builder. Their communication with me with fantastic, keeping me updated along the way. The team had to visit the defendants home in order to recover the sum owed to me, which they did successfully, and a written report was also supplied. Absolutely brilliant service, highly recommend.

"Fantastic service - a fast, professional and cost effective enforcement service."
Fantastic service - a fast, highly professional & cost effective enforcement service. I have finally got possession of my property after years of trying to evict a difficult tenant. Great service from the development manager, Irvine, and Ashleigh in the office, who helped with every step of the process, including arranging the locksmith to attend. Georgie the enforcement officer was brilliant - he worked calmly & professionally with the tenant and kept me fully informed during the whole eviction process on the day. I will be using them again to pursue the rent arrears and highly recommend their services.
