"Stay away from Yuno Energy"
Stay away from Yuno Energy. They’re nothing but a scam. I’ve been with Yuno since June 2024. First, they were charging me €60-70 per month, which is reasonable because I work from the office and I’m barely at home. Then, in October they suddenly charged me €170, and when I contacted them they said “Well, we’ve been undercharging you and now we just took what you owed us”. I was shocked a bit but didn’t do anything, so I continued using them. Then the bills were around €100-110 consistently. This month I got a forecast of €164, which again I was somewhat okay with because February was cold and also they switched me to a smart meter so I expected a fluctuation. However today I was presented with a €377 bill. (Mind you, yesterday the app said €164) I contact them and once again they tell me that they’d been undercharging me and this is just what I owed them.
Is this just going to happen every few months? How am I supposed to budget if Yuno can just come and take as much money as they want?
Also, how YOU undercharging me is MY responsibility?
Absolutely disgraceful and I will be switching to another provider, even if their monthly bills are higher. At least there’s no surprises like this.
