"I have had the worst experience"

I have had the worst experience. My property is rented through Haart.

In July they told me of damage which has been caused to my property. They said that the bath had been broken; the glass shower screen had been broken, tiles were off the wall and the cooker hob had been damaged.

Out of 27 calls, 2 were answered. I asked for photos 14 times by email, still no photos or even their quote.

I am at my wits end. I cannot claim through my insurance because I have no photos. Haart is withholding the rent in order to fix the damage and they haven't even given my a quote of how much the works would be. I just dont know what to do.

We had a terrible experience with this agency. Long delays dealing with mould, mice and broken windows in the property. We were repeatedly lied too (such as our contract stating our money was in a DPS scheme when it wasn't) and talked down too by staff. Our rent was raised multiple times in a year and problems took months to be dealt with.

I never normally write reviews but I wish I'd had someone tell me before I signed a contract.

My rental payment has yet again not been paid to me on time, this is an ongoing problem most months. I have emailed, complaining called several times. No response. Absolutely appalling service!

I contacted the Haart online chat service asking for details of the complaints service and they (Rachel) closed the chat! When I reopened the chat they told me to Google the Haart complaints procedure. Customer service not their strong point!
