Only one negative I wasn’t contacted to say tyres were at the fitting garage I had to ask the question.
Great fitter took great pride in his work and a big thank to Wade who reassured me that my 22 inch rims were in good hands thanks to all at Protyres Chesham.

The process was relatively pain free, and the prices for my specific tyres were the cheapest I found by a good £15 per corner (fitted).

There was an Amazon voucher deal but the website did not show the required code at the time I placed my order, so I missed out. I called customer service to explain and the friendly chap in the office took care of it within a few minutes and added it to my order. Other recent online purchases from the likes of Samsung resulted in my having to cancel and return the entire order, then re-order to make use of an offer code. I appreciate a phone is not the same as tyres but credit where credit is due, very well done RAC. Top marks for customer service.

The only reason I gave 4-stars is because RAC apparently sent the fitter multiple bookings for the same timeslot. The fitter called me to explain and gave me an earlier slot which was fine as I was home thay day but if my timing was less flexible, that could have been a problem...

I did just save £60 though, so I would happily give them another try, I just have not experienced that issue from BlackCircles who I have used a few times over the years in multiple parts of the country.

"Shoddy and Unsafe Service"

I arrived to have my RAC booked tyres fitted to my car and was informed by the Fitting company that the tyres had only arrived 45 minutes earlier but had been returned as the tyres were 6 years old! I asked the gentleman at the fitting company what could be done to sort the situation out as quickly as possible. He informed that it was completely out of his hands and he didn't have a contact with anyone at RAC. After 20 mins on the phone I eventually spoke to someone at RAC who informed me that it wasnt possible to get tyres fitted that day so I cancelled my order as I desperately needed new tyres. He then informed me that it would take 10 days to credit my account with the money owed. Feeling this was completely unreasonable I persisted and eventually had an immediate refund. I have filled in a customer satisfaction survey with the RAC but I am still waiting for a reply 2 months later. Poor health and safety plus shoddy service from a seemingly reputable company.

The staff at Marshals were great friendly and polite my booking was for 0930 but within an hour of booking on line got a phone call would I mind arriving for a 0830 booking
My 4 tyres were fitted while I waited excellent service
