"THAY ARE NOT WHAT YOU THINK"

They do not have their own engineers
They contract your job out to a local tradesmen
They take your money
Then they DON'T pay us contractors
Look for a local trade! don't waste your money on these
Also we would have been cheaper if booked directly and not what these scammers charge
We wouldn't give them 1 star if ZERO was an option

If you’re a Tradesman Do Not Work for this company, this company Do Not Pay, they say 30 days until payment after work complete after that they say we haven’t received your invoice, promised payment would be in the bank numerous times etc etc
Stay well away.

Don't deal with this company if you're in a trade. Did two jobs for them, they eventually paid me for one but not the other.
No response to emails and promises to phone me back never materialised . AVOID .

"Dreadful Company"

Absolutely appalling service – it’s a scam to upsell you a new appliance at their ‘special rate’ after you have paid for the repair. Stay away. Terrible experience. Go direct to a local repair firm -its worth the extra time as this company will sub-contract to a local firm anyway as its just a call centre. You will pay more in the long run.

AND their delay has had the knock-on effect of costing literally tens of thousands of pounds.

Requested repair to appliance early in the summer – paid the fee – subcontracted to local company - engineer visited – recommended parts - part not ordered or authorized to be ordered by Repair Network.

The company were only interested in the ‘easy’ solution of my paying more £ and ordering a new appliance at the special price they can secure from their special contacts.

I repeatedly called for updates on the part to be ordered and had no reply. Promised calls by managers that never happened.

I maintained contact with the sub contractor who had visited and identified the issue – they chased for authorisation to order the part but were told that it was on hold and they would get back. Months later they never did get back to the sub contractor. The job is still 'on hold' and they will, allegedly 'get back'.

Also, because the job is ‘on hold’ Repair Network never paid the original sub-contractor and they also never authorised the parts to be ordered.

Months later, as a direct result of the failure to order the part – it was about £35 – the related damage in the property is an enormous expense.

Repair network is an absolute scam.

The issue is still not resolved – I have contacted the call centre and been advised that it is not possible to email them. When I requested in writing details of every point of contact with them they have said ‘its not their job’ and been extremely rude and hung up.

I have requested managers to call back and they have not done that in a timely way. When they do call back – they try and upsell the new 'better solution' of a new appliance. I have requested details of every action they have undertaken to date and not received it.

They have still not, after months of delay, approved the part to be ordered and paid for.

It has taken hours and hours of repeatedly calling and holding on the phone to get through to the call centre who also try and fob it off to a manger as not in their job description to advise anything other than the solution of a new appliance and then when the manager calls back, they have that amazing solution also – to upsell to a new appliance.

Customer service = appalling

Interest in resolving the issue – zero

Interest in upselling 100%

Staff helpfulness - zero

It’s a call centre that is abusive of their sub-contractors and frankly abusive to their customers. I also expect its appalling to work there – they kept commenting that they had been on the phone to me a full 7 minutes and couldn’t help because it was escalated to the manager who hadn’t called back and they had to get on with other calls. No doubt the managers are under pressure to upsell to new appliances.

It is really difficult to describe the absolutely dreadful service and scam that is this company and the distress and upset they have caused.

They have cost me personally hours and hours of time – distress and upset and anger – and thousands and thousands of pounds in related damage as a direct result of their negligence and failure. And they absolutely don’t care.

A court case will follow on the basis of how utterly awful it is that companies like this get away with treating their customers with such a lack of respect.

Best advice – use a local supplier – even if its more difficult to find one and check your insurance policy – often it is better to replace an old appliance but do NOT be tricked into paying for the repair only to be advised that the ‘easiest and best (for them) solution is to buy the new appliance.

"This is a warning to both customers and…"

This is a warning to both customers and appliance engineers. We have dealt with this company for sometime now which at the start was fine until they stopped paying invoices on time, the last time they did this they owed for nearly 20 invoices and took them over 2 months to pay after we threatened court action. We then stopped working for them until they offered to paid by card when the job was complete, Weve had a busy week and 6 jobs now outstanding and they are refusing to pay by card now so be warned either take a payment upfront or leave well alone. The new director Mr Jeeva George Thakkirickal is now going to get a small claims letter on his door with late payment charges added.
To customers of this company, do you realise that this company is a Call centre that will take your money after inflating prices YOU pay and pass the work to a Local engineer near you which you too can find by searching "Google Local appliance engineer" and pay a lot less for the same work. Please be warned.

"the human touch"

Dealt with the same individual through what ended up being a bit of a complex replacement challenge (Naz). She was great at reaching out and suppoting me - refreshing to deal with a human. A few challenges in getting the right product due to technical aspects but we got there in the end and at least the experience was positive

"This company DOES NOT pay the engineers"

We were asked to visit a property to fix a faulty dishwasher. We did this job at the beginning of September and still have not been paid. We are a one man band company who cannot afford to work for free! Shameful.

"Lot of waiting and promised call backs for 2 min job"

I booked a fridge-freezer repair.
They said, they'll send an engineer in 24-72 hours, and will call me.
I had to call them the next day, and they promised a call back 2 times to confirm the timeslot which never happened.
The engineer turned up with 40 mins notice and basically did not touch the appliance but diagnosed the issue purely based on what I said on the phone. That costed £120 and 2 days waiting.

"Still waiting for a refund after 15 months"

Appalling service after initial helpful call with James. They have been unable to repair the fridge freezer or the cooker within the 12 month time frame and after numerous emails and promised phone calls, I still haven't been refunded.
