A easy and stress free experience. We were guided through the sale and installation process, seamlessly completed on time and on budget. The new bifold doors look beautiful and have changed the look of our home.

"Installation joke"

This is how our £XX,XXX installation of sliding doors and roof lights went.

Frame height requested so brickwork could be set to correct level. This was not provided in a timely fashion following at least two written requests which resulted in rework of the brickwork incurring additional cost.

We were told that there would be a gap of 2-3 weeks between measurement and installation of glazing, it was almost 6 weeks from the first installation day.

Day 1 Installers show up with two people for a three or four person job. As such they could not lift the glass. Roof light frames were not installed which would be a reasonable job for the two-person team to do.

Day 2 Installers say that they will be back on Sunday, they do not and provide no notice of this.

No fitting taken place on Monday.

Day 3 Tuesday, they show up with only two people and claim someone is stuck in (invisible) traffic on the M25, there isn't traffic on the M25 as per google maps and agreed with another member of staff.

Installers say they are "going for coffee" which actually meant they had gone to the next job. No communication that that they would not return.

Day 4 Thursday, 4 installers attended in the morning and install the sliding doors with damage.

Following a long lunch break, the fitters return. It starts to rain lightly at which point the fitters say it needs to be dry to fit the roof lights. Instead of waiting for an hour until the rain stopped, they left site for the day without informing us.

Day 5 They return for another visit on Friday where one installer is tasked with installing roof lights on his own... Door seals don't fit so they need to return again (this has been known since the third day of attempted installation so should have already been re-ordered).

Day 6 of installation they cancel at the time they were due to show up.

Day 7 is tomorrow, wish us luck!

No compensation offered for the disruption and delay. Tomorrow will be the 7th attempt to complete spanning 12 days. This is before snagging of damaged powder coating etc. No discount offered just apologies and unkept promises.

Attempt Day 7 still having problems on site with the seals so the installation is not completed

Attempt Day 8 they order yet more seals which again don't fit

Attempt Day 9 the installer is "held up" on another job and does not show up.

Attempt Day 10 24-10-2022 more seals that still don't fit

Attempt Day 11 31-10-2022 more new seals, one door still binding but the others are working better, glass is now damaged on the middle pane from excessive force used to fit the seals. Damage to the frame still needs painting and there are further missing trim pieces.

They have now said that they will return next Friday 11-11-2022 for attempt 12!

No compensation offered for the disruption and delay. I have repeatedly requested their complaints procedure which has not been provided.

"Our experience of the Bi-fold door…"

Our experience of the Bi-fold door company has been excellent. The service from start to finish has been very good and any issues which have arisen have been dealt with in an honest and efficient way. The doors look amazing and the quality of the product is evident to see. A little mention about our installer, Jelliee and his co-worker, who were friendly and efficient. They worked hard, despite the bad weather, and stayed late to finish- very good service!

"Fantastic product and installation awful customer service"

The production and installation manager was very good as was his installation team. However we did not get to deal with him until towards the end of our order. We finalised the order in May and installation was completed at the end of August so be aware it takes a long time which we were told was due to difficulty getting parts from Germany. We dealt with the managing director and he was rude unprofessional unhelpful all the way through the process almost to a point where I was afraid to call him. When he came out to check measurements were correct he arrived 30 minutes late and then spent time on his phone without apologies. He had nothing with him to do the measurements we had to lend him our ladders etc and he told us the builders had not done accurate openings for the products and it would be a difficult installation. This caused unnecessary stress upset and a delay paying our builders. All unavoidable as the installation was completely smooth and everything fitted perfectly. The product is amazing but we would not use this company again and would advise others not to based on the managing directors appalling service
Note added after above review posted this morning….. I have had a response to this from The managing director in my emails not on here and it is rude and does not acknowledge any of the bullying we had to take from him extremely disappointed and probably wasn’t worth using trust pilot. A review is to give constructive feedback so others can make an informed choice not to receive abuse absolutely shocking service

When considering Aluminium windows, we were looking for a hassle free service. This company provided just that. From the get-go all the way to completion, the service was outstanding. We opted to go for Bi-Folding doors and throughout the process we were given piece of mind. Work started promptly and was finished within the time frame ( as promised).
Thank you for the amazing work and a special mention for the lovely gentleman (Imran) who was always there when called upon. Can’t wait for the summer so that I can fully enjoy the Bi- Folding door experience.

From sales to production to installation, this company has it all.
This company in my opinion have a reputation that is second to none in the window/door industry.
Very knowledgeable & great customer service.
They made my life so easy when it came to choosing the systems, they offer for aluminium windows & doors.
I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

"Terrible customer service but good doors"

The Schueco doors are of good quality and the fitter did an excellent job, but we had real problems getting to that point. We did not receive any communication that our doors were delayed - firstly, because of material delays and secondly because the company had received only a part delivery. This set back our move into the house by a month so we would have appreciated some level of communication.
While we understand that both of those reasons are out of the company's control, there was never any warning or apology for this, and we had to chase up the order status on both occasions. The people measuring the door had to come back twice to measure after an error the first time.
We found the staff rude and unprofessional on each occasion that we spoke with them, so much so that I'm expecting a retaliation in the comments (just look at responses to bad reviews below).
In summary: Good doors, but I wouldn't risk going with this company in the event that something goes wrong.
Update: Just for flavour, the company dislikes my review so much that it has reported it to Trustpilot twice for containing names that they themselves have used in other comments. These people are truly miserable to deal with.
