Spoke to Sarah HEYES to help me understand what I had in terms of contract. Having had emails from Flipper which confused issues and had led me to believe that my supply was from another company.
Sarah was extremely helpful, thorough and professional. Provided a great service.

"Swapped to Zebra earlier this year as…"

Swapped to Zebra earlier this year as their fixed deal much cheaper than EDF. So far, great company. I worked in the energy industry 43 years as an analyst, and advice to customers panicking at the moment, stay calm, OFGEM have procedures in place for all eventualities, as to cost of energy, wait until electric cars arrive in large quantities and gas and oil are banned and we have built only one nuclear new station, then panic.

"Over £450 Refund not paid after switch in April 21"

I phoned them on 15th August because they had not refunded over £450 of credit when I switched in April this year. They said they would pay the refund, but they haven’t, and today their number is jammed presumably with messages and no more calls being taken.

"Happy with Zebra"

Been with Zebra for a couple of years with 2 properties and always found they answer calls within a couple of minutes and bills are updated within hours. Prices are competitive, hope they don't go bust. Also don't have to have a smart meter which.i refuse to have

"Cheapest and best supplier ever"

I have been with Zebra Power for about 2.5 years now, they are the best supplier I have ever been with. If the internet is correct the tarrif I am currently on is the very cheapest tariff you can get anywhere (Zebra Fixed Rate February 2022 v1 Paperless), I have found them to be very competitive. The website is fabulous, after entering your readings your current balance is immediately updated. Customer service is excellent too. I hope they do not go bust in this current gas price crisis which we have as I have just used the comparison sites and the cheapest tariff I could get is 47% dearer than what I am currently paying.

"My contract is coming up for renewal…"

My contract is coming up for renewal and I did look elsewhere, but with the main competitor I was unable to speak to anyone! The customer service with Zebra has always been excellent price is very competitive and I have therefore renewed my contact.

"Avoid this supplier like the plague!!"

Avoid this supplier like the plague!!
My 90 year old Dad switched to Zebra on a fixed rate plan. Within a few days of switching his gas meter and smart meter both went blank so we're not registering any usage. This was over a year ago. He reported the problem immediately and was told that Zebra would deal with it. He has had numerous requests from Zebra for meter readings and has contacted them again each time to advise that the meter is still blank. In July this year they sent him an estimated bill which was double the amount of his direct debit. When he asked about this he was told that it was estimated because he hadn't sent a reading. Once again he explained that the meter was blank so they arranged for someone to come out to report on the problem. That was done on 7/7/21. The engineer said that there was a problem and it would need replacing and he sent his report before he left my Dad's property saying that Zebra would have it within the hour. Dad hasn't heard anything since so telephoned Zebra again today. Once again he was fobbed off with excuses and has got no further. The problem is now that he cannot afford to keep paying the increased payment and wants to change supplier but can't because of this meter issue. In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this supplier at all. My Dad is stuck with an unaffordable contract due to Zebra's incompetent in getting his meter sorted out.
This is an update about the above review.
My Dad was contacted yesterday (4/8/21) by Zebra and was advised that they would telephone him today at 10am to discuss what they are doing about the raised issues. Surprise surprise! That phone call hasn't materialised. The matter has now been reported to Ofgem and my 1 star rating still stands.
