"Home power failure"
A power failure affecting the whole house at 17:00 (ish) on a Bank Holiday Monday. After checking with the power grid it was obviously only my property. First contact to Zebra's emergency contact was by email and we had a reply within 30 minutes. The controller then set out to find an availably contractor, this was achieved within 2 hours (given a Bank Holiday) which we considered excellent. We had an electrician on site within another two hours and power back on shortly after. All people we engaged with, showed first class customer service - Unbelievable response. Thanks

"Not acceptable"
10 years of my daughter paying her power bills with no problem. The power company that she was with wanted to increase her monthly payment by £18 even though she was a £100 in credit, so went on to a comparison site. Zebra wasn't best but had the best reviews so went with them. They have just emailed her through me wanting a £500 deposit before taking her on. Not acceptable.

I am under contract till November 1 I have just bought an electric car and all other suppliers offer the cheaper rate to charge your car at night but Zebra wont do this. I have no choice to change supplier and go to someone who charges the lower rate at night charge. Unfortunately I have been told to pay 60.00 to go to another supplier.

"Problems not addressed by Zebra"
I had problems reading a smart meter but the promised meter reader never appeared. I decided to switch as soon as my contract ended.
The real issue was my final bill which was impossible to understand. It started with 'Removal of Energy Charges' and I had no idea what this was. It also split the calculations into 2 periods Aug to Jan and Jan to Feb despite the previous bill being to the end of Dec.
I had to perform my own calculation to determine the amount owed (which agreed with their convoluted calculation).

Have been with Zebra for the last two years and have signed up for another two years. The company are very efficient replying straight away to emails and submitting readings is very simple and bills etc appear very quickly excellent service

Jack did an amazing job on getting me a better deal on my gas and electric. I’ve been with zebra for over 6 years and it’s so easy to submit reading and discuss your bills as they actually answer the phone! And reply to emails ! The same day! Would highly recommend to everyone

They make everything straightforward and uncomplicated and offer competitive rates- even their method of submitting meter readings is flexible.
Really appreciate speaking to a pleasant and helpful representative when phoning- unusual these days!
