Everyone from the sales rep to the installation team were excellent, all questions were answered and everything was explained clearly. The installation was carried out professionally and to our complete satisfaction and on time.

Since my initial review I have discovered a crack in one of the windows but it seems customer services are reluctant to sort it out for me despite me being on the phone for over an hour trying to pursuade them otherwise.
There seems to be a 7 day rule about reporting defects which does not appear in the terms and conditions, although there is supposed to be a 12 month warranty against defects.

It appears that customer service lets the company down badly.

Penicuik put in my conservatory, which is really nice, and now I have had a new front door. The guys were professional, courteous and pleasant throughout the whole procedure.

very pleased with the fitters who arrive on time and did a very good jod.They showed how to lock and unlock the new doors.After they finished they tidied up all the equipment and left the house tidy.

Very happy with the survivor when he was in our home. Very professional. The fitters were very polite and very tidy cleaned up after the job was completed. Windows and doors where to a top standard for a very reasonable price. Recommended company.

"Deceitful Sales Calls"

We had windows and doors fitted in October, there was a hiccup at the start but we had that resolved, then noticed a crack in the pvc in one of the bedroom windows, this wasn't replaced until after new year but again issue was resolved. My gripe isn't with the windows but the after sales team. We have been called constantly (at least 6, maybe more calls) offering 50% off any additional work and that once we received the quote the price would be guaranteed for 18 months, as they appreciate we had spent a lot of money on the windows /doors (ovet £8000). We agreed to having a quote for roofline (guttering etc), this was after a 20 min call from a female who said that my house had been shortlisted for their brochure- 35 shortlisted apparently of which 10 would be selected although no guarantee it would be picked for final 10- made appt for Friday 12:30, guy appears at 13:05, had to send him away as had appointment that couldn't be cancelled, surely a telephone call advising going to be late was warranted. Head office called, apologised and appointment rearranged for yesterday at 16:30. Saleswoman does appear, wants to spend 30 mins discussing what they can do, hubby asks her just to cut to the chase and give us the quote, not happy at this, she phones her manager, passes phone to hubby to talk to him. Whilst this conversation goes on she asks me if we had received other quotes, said that we hadn't but that next door neighbour had, asked me what it was and who with, I told her I would let her know after she had given us the quote, bearing in mind we were to get 50% off and this price guaranteed for 18 months! Her reply was that she may not be able to give me a quote as I wasn't prepared to provide the other company quote details!!! Manager told her to proceed after speaking to hubby, quote was for £3600 (£1100 more than neighbours quote from other well known national company). We then asked about the 50% off, she couldn't authorise that, another phone call to the manager, he told hubby if we agreed today we would be charged £1900 but couldn't guarantee this for 18 months. Saleswoman said that office staff just say about these discounts to get feet across people's doors and most people just go with it and buy anyway. In my opinion this is false advertising but it just proves to me that they have no scruples and lie to people on the phone. Was a waste of our time and I will never buy anything from them again.

"Job Well Done!"

We recently decided to get new windows and doors and the service we received from start to finish was great. The sales rep came and gave us a full breakdown on the windows and doors with us getting everything that we wanted and the surveyor was full and upfront about all measurement as well. The fitting team led by Duncan Broadley, did a great job, especially considering the inclement weather that we had last weekend. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for windows and doors. The only hiccup was booking in the installation, which was a bit messy at first but I eventually got what we wanted and we couldn't be any happier with it all. Contract No U000365

"Don't even deserve one star"

Unfortunately I need to give this one star just so I can write a comment.
Awful and outrageous service and communication by Penicuik and the Kairos Group.
Luckily the Windows and installation were fine but stress and pressure caused by failings of these companies have left a very bitter taste.
Complaint has now gone unanswered for well over a month.
