Front door is leaking, called for remedial work to be done under the 10 year guarantee.
Told the company went into liquidation has been bought over and I would have to pay for repairs!!! Not impressed.

Had three windows and a door installed in September and couldn't really fault any aspects of the installation. The guys turned up on time and did a really good job. Minimal mess and explained exactly what they were doing. Three months on and no issues at all with any of the windows or door. The products are of good quality and overall I would say I've received good value for money. Have seen a lot of negative reviews on here, but for me the positives far outweighed the negatives. The installation service could not have been better. The windows were described and demonstrated in great detail by the salesman and the person who came to fit was most professional and helpful.

The reason for the four stars and not five was because of the follow up service phone calls which began to be a little intrusive

My whole experience from the sales representative. Down to the joiner who came to measure up for the windows , and the guys who came to do all the doors & windows fitting in 1 day was excellent, they covered every inch of the floor with decorating sheets and hoovered up all there mess , was very professional indeed .

Warning!!! We purchased our new windows through Penicuik as the price we eventually got down to was reasonable, they promised high quality and, if all else failed, we had peace of mind that we had a 10 year guarantee included in the sale. We contacted Penicuik a few weeks ago as the frames had large pools of water in them and we were worried about this turning to ice come the winter, we suspected the seals had gone. This was not the first time we had cause to get them to carry out repairs. Imagine our horror to find out that, unknown to it's customers, the Penicuik 10 year guarantee is now null and void as, according to the customer service advisor (joke!), because the parent company ENTU had gone into receivership and Penicuik is now under new owners, they have no responsibility! I have contacted DGCOS who looked into this as Penicuik Home Improvements as they are still trading and that is the name on our contract including the 10 year guarantee. It transpires that Penicuik did not follow set procedure and did not register the work done, thus leaving us without the insurance back up that they should have provided. DGCOS are now investigating why this happened and how many other jobs have been missed. To top it all, on Friday one of our bedroom windows exploded!! This could happen to you, imagine if that had been a child's bedroom or a pensioner's for that matter. I am prepared to take this to court if needed but in the meantime, buyer beware. Contract P32592 Over to you Penicuik to make this situation right.

Great service had 4 windows and a door .Workmen were pleasant and very tidy started at 9.30 and finished by 4.30 . The only thing i would say is Penicuik are quiet hard to reach by phone

Had 4 windows replaced. Guy’s did a really good job. No mess was left in house and glass was cleaned up nicely. Very good job.
