"New Roof 2023"

Got new roof in 2023. During the last storm one of our solar panels blew off the roof because the roofers put our solar panels back incorrectly. My partner & I had to get someone locally to put the solar panel back on, on accessing our new roof, there were cracked tiles under the solar panels which were obviously damaged when roofers were reinstalling our solar panels. Also wrong screws were put in to keep the solar panels in place. Bad workmanship, obviously didn't have experience fitting solar panels. Also if that solar panel hadn't blown off with the storm we wouldn't have known that the tiles were damaged under the solars. I sent two emails to b-spoke, one in feb & one in march still waiting on a reply. Obviously not interested in coming to sort the cracked tiles. Once they have your money then that's it. Not interested in doing repairs because of their bad workmanship. In the end I have gone to to my local trading standards dept. They did get a reply from b-spoke, b-spoke are claiming no liability of damaging the tiles underneath the solar panels. They are blaming the person who we got to re install our solar panel. What a load of crap!!. Just don't want to admit that their work is crap. What good is the 10 year guarantee if they aren't going to fix their mess. All we are asking for b-spoke is refund us for the money we paid to get the solar back on and come and fix the damaged tiles. We also got roughcasting done in January, had issues with this too and put in a complaint. Came to solve the issues in a few days because we refused to pay the final balance until the issue was fixed. Different story about the roof as no money due, therefore not interested.
Stay well clear of those cowboys!! Take your money, then ignore any communication you send them.

Roofing team were great said roof would be off and new roof on in 2 days kept there word great job great finish .Rab the gaffer was polite helpful and kept me informed.the job was a little frustrating due to materials coming first followed by skip then scaffold .Lyndsay in office was most helpful and replied to all emails

"One time deal sales tactics"

One time deal sales tactics, they were in our living room for hours! The sales pitch took forever and I didn't think they were going to leave! We decided to go with them as the quote seemed reasonable and they had all of their accreditation badges etc. They came and did the work, whole new roof, However, when the plastic edging they put on started to come away we contacted them to come fix it. They said they were coming but never did (multiple times). I have called repeatedly and sent several emails (Nov24 to Mar25). On top of that some tiles look like they have shifted. When finally (months later, Mar25) someone came to take a LOOK, that was it, weeks later nothing is fixed (Apr25). I wouldn't go with this group questionable workmanship and no followup care.

This company told me that my roughcasting needed a complete renewal. The lad that came out was polite, but had no experience, everything he said was written down on his tablet. I had a real workman out a few weeks later, who said there was only one small patch that needed repairing and explained how it was done. Avoid at all costs

"New roof, unresolved issues"

Getting a new roof by b-spoke, the inspector checking there work doesn’t check the inside of the building for any damage or work done. Had a skylight removed and air vents cut or should I say smashed through my roof, called Monday left a message with no reply, called Tuesday and spoke to someone who got me to send an email with pictures of the damage and the mess left by the workers. Large skip supplied yet I had to tidy up 7 handfuls of nails in my driveway and path, Stanley blades, cans of juice and a used vape. Still left over materials left in my garden, ridge tiles and a board of wood. After sending an email and getting confirmation of email receipt on Wednesday morning and being told I would get a phone call back on the Wednesday I still have no reply except on Friday an email with my guarantee and a link for this review. Skip and scaffolding have now been removed telling me this issue hasn’t even been looked at never mind dealt with, clearly unacceptable as they called several times the day the inspector was coming out to get me to call the finance company and chase them to speed up the payment process yet they can’t return a phone call when an issue has occurred and been raised with the installation team. Very disappointed after being sold the roof as described as a “higher end” of the workmanship and quality range.

Just had B-Spoke out to roughcast mum's home and it looks amazing! The tradesmen were so hard working, to the point that we have never seen such hard-working tradesmen, who took such a pride in their work.Their attention to cleaning and tidying around was impressive, each day cleaning up before leaving, and placing anything required for the next day in a tidy manner.They hosed down the windows, even though they had been protected, and also brushed and cleaned all the grass!

B-Spoke really has been the whole package, from first contact with Gary, who was so personable and professional, and also mindful in explaining everything roughcast., to Lyndsay and her clear and professional communication, to the tradesmen on the ground who were hardworking, and took pride in their work.
