They have good offers and were the cheapest for the items I was after.

While delivery costs were reasonable, their selection of delivery companies needs work, I had my £1200 rug delivered to the right number on the completely wrong road. I had to go and hunt it down myself. My large pot also got obliterated in transit by DPD, which was perhaps a little down to lack of suitable protection during packaging too.

Thankfully they offer the best customer service I've come across in a long time. A replacement pot was dispatched same day and made it here fine. When I got sent an even better discount code a couple weeks after ordering the rug they agreed to issue a credit for the difference.

As a result of them championing customer satisfaction, I will be back.

"6-8 weeks turned into 6 months"

I ordered a sideboard in November 2021, it said that it typically ships in 6-8 weeks, and I received it in June 2022 with the wrong screws so the inner shelf can't be installed. I haven't had such a bad experience with skandium before so this is a real shame. I was first told in February it had shipped, there was no word after that, don't know where that one went (to someone else maybe?). I chased for information at every stage. And all through this epic wait, the product page is still misleading people with the 6-8 weeks lead time. I can't even be bothered with the right screws at this point, I'm just using it as is. I thank the staff for always being polite, but you should know customers get tired of the one line apologies and just want to be given a real reason after a while. Order 83702

I don’t ever like to leave reviews and I also don’t like to buy online as I like to feel and touch items especially when I am buy such high end products……however a neighbour of my told me of Skandium, so I thought I would try them.

I found the product cheaper else where, rang up and spoke to Luke who price match it without question. Furthermore, Luke’s attitude and enthusiasm was absolutely fantastic and professional. So much so I will definitely be a returning customer due to him alone.

Finally on the product itself, £625 for a set of fireside tool are expensive, but when they arrived you can tell why they are as much as they are!

It’s now 2 months later with no word on when the item will arrive.

Used to be a decent store, but no longer capable of supporting a basic online store service.

A good pair of hands in a difficult business. I don't think this type of business was ever easy. Small things that get broken. Large things that get damaged. Delivery hassles. And now all a whole lot worse for everybody. Skandium are a good firm. Lovely products. They care and if there is a problem, they interact and sort it, not ignore you and hope you give up. Yes, I am pleased with them.

Emailed customer service and received a very quick response from Luke. Sent video of problem and Luke promptly got back to me to arrange a replacement. Less than 24 hours later a brand new kettle delivered.

Had a problem with a kettle 'on' indicator. Emailed Skandium and Luke responded really quickly. I sent a photo to show that the light wasn't working and the next thing I knew a replacement kettle arrived. Communication in between was great and it was so nice not to feel frustrated when dealing with customer service. Wish all companies were like this.
