Very good communication. Responsive and willing to work with our church. Church insurance in our area is hard to come by. Though our church insurance costs us more than we would ideally like to pay (hence four stars), the company has never made itself an obstacle on those occasions when we have submitted a claim. (Of course, our premiums did go up, but we knew that would be the case.)

May 11, 2022 we suffered storm damage to our roof. I filed the next day but you did not reply until AFTER day 100 and after I contacted the BBB and MN Dept. of Commerce. Then you denied there was a storm- at all. Then you said we made too many claims and did not renew us. Then we filed a lawsuit, went into a legal Appraisal process and your last minute "consultant" from outside MN suggested repairs instead of replace when NO contractor including your own witness experts said it was repairable. and while we sued for $1.4M we were eventually awarded $225K for repairs -- which, again, NOT ONE CONTRACTOR WAS ABLE TO MAKE THE REPAIRS FOR THAT AMOUNT!!! nor were they willing to simply patch our slate roof -- they ALL said the roof needed to be replaced. This congregation never missed a payment and never abused the system, yet when we needed you the most you gave us the middle finger. NEVER will we trust GuideOne insurance again. NOR SHOULD YOU!

The final settlement was acceptable. But the first adjustor did not do his job and we recieved an extreamly shoddy report that was incompetent. It took six months to get this resolved, not very responsive.

we had to keep submitting our bills for our roof because our adjuster kept making mistakes on the checks. It took 3 times to get the right amounts paid.
Also, our premium went up $1300 a month and our deductible doubled to $64,000 insane and total unfair.
