The VT-ICEMP25 icemaker is great.
Was received as a gift after the fourth icemaker in my refrigerator died.
This is much faster than the one in the refrigerator.
Makes nice sized round cubes.
Since the storage bin isn't referigerated you need to empty the bin to a container (I use my old icemakers bin) in the freezer to keep the cubes from melting.

The dual zone works well, it keeps a 10 degree differential. My only negative is that the noise level is higher than my previous wine cooler.

This wine cooler was purchased to replace the same model due to a bad compressor after only five years. Why would we buy it again? Because it is the only UNDER THE COUNTER unit with separate beverage and wine compartments. The new unit looks nearly identical to the old one, with a slight difference in the doors. The numbers no longer show through the glass, an improvement in my opinion. We unpacked it, plugged it in and were delighted that it was much quieter than the old one. Imagine our surprise when it DID NOT FIT under the counter!! Even with the adjustable leveling feet as low as possible the unit was about a quarter of an inch too high. We have standard sized kitchen cabinets and granite. And the previous under the counter unit slid in without any problem. The only solution was to find replacement leveling feet, not as easy as it sounds since the screws are metric and the ones stocked at our local hardware store were not. Eventually our son was able to find some that were flat metal on the bottom of the screw and we applied felt pads to them to protect the floor. Even with the minimal height of the new leveling feet the door hinges prevent it from being completely under the granite. We will have to live with good enough but it is ridiculous that this wine cooler described itself as a built-in.

I recently purchased a new wine chiller from Costco. My old Vinotemp finally started acting up after fifteen years. So, loyalty and past experience brought me back The new unit had mixed reviews, but I gambled for reasons stated. So far, the unit is great. Looks perfect, dual zone working, and quiet. Have dealt with Vinotemp customer service in the past. Very helpful. Super service!

Really like this wine cooler! Only drawback is that the bottom shelf is actually not one for wine bottles inasmuch as there’s not enough room.
