At Christmas time I installed a 15" wine cooler. The motor ran but it never cooled. Vinotemp sent me parts and told me a repairman would soon contact me. Evidently they were not able to find such a person in my area. I finally sent the cooler back to where I had bought it. Unfortunate experience. The CS rep at Vinotemp did his best to get my situation resolved. It just turned out impossible.

Product is good and is running as advertised. Had a problem with the installation where the power cord did not seal as it was supposed to when pulling down on it. Callled for a fix but no-one returned my call. Have tried to seal up the opening where the power cord comes through the unit with duct tape but there should be a small plug with a hole in the middle that could be installed in half’s to seal this opening. Any suggestions???

Had to jump through hoops trying to get the unit shipped to Irvine, so we drove to South West LA to their home location and picked it up. We were replacing another one of their units that had lasted fifteen years (gulp! without a service! ) After the purchase and getting it to our house, it occurred to me that it probably just needed a freon recharge, but no, we bought a new one. Now it’s installed and once more, we never even think about it, just get a bottle that feels like 55° when holding it. Have a lot of $ worth of wine that it’s baby sitting. Come to think of it, it might be one of our best friends.

"Nice little wine refrigerator - fit the spot perfect."

We ordered the small wine refrigerator and liked the features (temp control, lockout and no handle) on this unit. The only thing we notice is that the unit is slightly noisy but nothing overbearing. We did have one glitch - found it one morning at a much lower temp than what it’s set for. I reset it and so far it’s holding. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we don’t have any more issues.

"Frustrating attempt to ask a few questions about my new Vinotemp product..."

I called today with a few questions regarding my new wine steward stainless four bottle preservation system. I waited on hold for a long time after trying to explain to the receptionist what I needed. When I did speak with someone I was disconnected and I did not get a call back. I called back... got a rude hasty person and when I tried to explain I was disconnected she abruptly transferred my call to an extension where the phone rang forever and no one answered.

It's doing it's job, keeping my wines at a consistent temp! The shelves do not roll in and out easily, especially with Burgandy bottles. And, the hum of the motor, when it kicks in, is fairly loud. So, if background noise bothers you, don't put this in a room you live in. Other than that, I'm happy so far.
