Just installed the cellar. It is working as expected (while I didn't get right away that the white wine was to be put in the top section... I'll admit I should have read the instructions more carefully)

Purchased a VT-CAVA1 online. Turns out it was manufactured in September 2011, nearly 6 years ago. The grill in the back was catching the lower fan which made the temperature in the lower rack go up to 77 degrees in a home that is set at 73 degrees. I caught that issue and pulled back the grill a bit and it's working as it should. I called to check on the warranty on the unit and found that the Thermoelectric models only come with a 90 day warranty. This is an $800 unit. Glad I found the problem before I had to ship it back to fix it!

Bought our 32 bottle vinotemp on Amazon. Very quiet, works great. Some of the larger 750 ml bottles are a squeeze but that's what we've found with every cooler we looked at.

The product is very good, the price competitive and in many cases, less than others. Where I had a problem was that I was given a 6-8 week production window (granted I ordered right before the holidays) and in the end, with a lot of pushing on my end, I received my cabinet 6 months after I ordered it! The company threw in the staining of my cabinet and white glove delivery, but it was very late and caused me to pay for a wine locker for 4 months more than I had expected. I will say that I've had an issue come up lately and the customer service folks could not be nicer or more responsive. All in all, I'd order again, but not at the holidays!
