Decent prices and reasonable shipping costs, one of the most reliable auction sites I have used up to now.

I have just used international auctions for the first and last time,
bought 9 iphone replacement screens and 4 are completely trashed,looks like someone has took a sledgehammer to them (just looking at the boxes you could see something was wrong?????)why do companies think the can sell rubbish like this and sleep at night,i am scared to try and sell remaining five in case i receive complaints as these may be faulty,
this company is a disgrace to the business community

"Shocking literally shocking"

Shocking literally shocking. Sold me a selection of electrical goods which were dangerous, plugs had burnt out, wires exposed, not checked at all or mentioned in the description. This is a very unscrupulous company and I would suggest you avoid them at all costs.

"A CAUTIONARY TALE"

A CAUTIONARY TALE
Seems such a good company, until there is a problem. Very quick to email you about payment etc... not so keen on contacting you when there's a problem from their end.
I bought several items that meant they had to be delivered on a pallet not a problem so far. The courier attempted to deliver the pallet without any notification, as no-one was home they took it back to the depot, despite being told to leave it at my risk!!
The courier then wanted an additional fee to redeliver the pallet, I refused.
Weeks later after a number of emails to both International auctions and the courier (with no reply)
The courier again delivered the pallet, again with no notification... unfortunately we were in Egypt. This time they happily left the pallet. I contacted IA to inform them.. they considered their involvement over.
Unfortunately the night before our return we sat in Egypt and watch as the contents of the pallet were liberated.
I immediately emailed IA, they referred me to the courier.. the same courier that had previously ignored my emails.
IA then requested video footage of the "crime" in order for them to report it to the Police before they could issue a refund as " we can't just take your word for it".. video provided and crime reference number because strangely enough "we" had reported it to the police.

Here we are 4 weeks later no further communication from IA resulting in us issuing a notification to sue letter, for the full RRP of the goods lost.

I've just received an email from IA.. refusing my claim!
As the goods were on my property therefore my liability... unfortunately for IA that isn't the case as its a public pavement where dropped.
They also "sdvise" me to pursue through the police and claim from my insurance.

So I'll update after the court decision

I have not bought from any auctions for over a year so decided to go back online to view local auctions at the start of the new year.
Well I'm so thrilled that I did as international online auctions are definitely worth a second look.
So much stock to choose from with accurate descriptions and although a lot of the photos are generic there are also extra shots of the original boxes mostly look unopened.
I was more than happy with my purchases and the service was very efficient and friendly especially Liam the young man who brings your stock and is happy to help load to your vehicle.
Viewing is easy as the warehouse is very organised and all stock easy to navigate.
Already viewed and highlighted items for this weekends sale ending tomorrow.
Yes definitely got the auction fever back

I've had nothing but positive experiences with International Auctions. Every major item bought was as described. Collection easy. Easy parking, unlike some Auction Houses. Staff great to deal with.
