"Do not ask for a refund of lost goods …"

Do not ask for a refund of lost goods or contact customer services they will answer but no action will be taken, customer service is zero, we are all aware of the condition of the goods, but when you do not receive them you expect a refund, they just expect you to just go away and stand the loss yourself. Just do a chargeback it costs them up to £100 seems silly not to sort out before it gets to that stage.

Update... I have had missing items, lots numbers delivered that I have not bid on, water damaged items where I have had to throw away all the packaging all reported. I have stood the cost of these incidents, so the lost parcel was my time to take action and no longer pocket the loss myself.

Only relief is it wasn't a bigger purchase.

Will look at trade bodies to report to and will be sticking to Aurelius, Vernon Fox, Shepherds and other auctions I can trust to deliver what I have paid for.

Love buying from here…. However what’s gone wrong this time … I paid as soon as I got my invoice but then I get a payment reminder??? Tried to phone nearly 20 times but the Accrington site never pick up the phone….. I need this sorting as the payment reminder states I could be barred from future auctions….. thank you Stephen Bellingham Managing Director for resolving this for me so swiftly … much appreciated!

"I bought a multitool last week"

I bought a multitool last week, finally arrived.
The description on their website does not match the reality whatsoever.
I opened the box to find out that the item had been broken.
Why are they selling broken items?
Ok, they sell broken items, so why can't they attach accurate pictures??
Why advertising a new item if in reality the item inside the box is completely unusable?
They claim T&C.. this is just shocking.
I cannot understand how is it possible to survive as a business... Oh yeah, I know - selling salvage items as new.......
Shocking, absolutely shocking.

As per a previous contributor I can verify that some goods are advertised with wrong description and picture and and the item could have never worked either with bits missing!

They flatly refuse to refund me, citing their T&C’s!!

This is against the trade description act and is an illegal practice. Also they quote their T&C’s in mitigation but a company cannot include any Claus in their terms that are illegal in UK law and are therefore deemed null and void !

International Auctions should provide customer service to those who cannot attend a viewing and offer, by law, correct descriptions and actual pictures of the item not a photoshop image! As you find in more professional auction houses, the items would have been also advertised as for “spares and repairs” as it it was clearly an incomplete and worthless item anyway!

DO NOT buy any item from this auction house unless you view in person first as they will try to palm off absolute trash. They do not have any scruples and to be honest shame on you!!

I will be seeking legal redress in my case .. so watch this space!!

What a fantastic Auction Site. I have bought many times from them. Great staff very knowledgeable and polite. The best thing about them is you can pickup no smoke and mirrors you get what you ordered.

"Very poor experience"

Won a couple of items, fairly low value about a month ago. There was no link to pay provided even though I requested one and advised that I required postage, according to their own instructions. An invoice finally arrived and I paid by bank transfer. It stated that postage was normally included. After hearing nothing more, I contacted them and was advised I needed to send £7 by bank transfer for postage. I did and advised them and they said they would 'get one of the lads to pack and send'. Two weeks later, nothing has arrived. I sent them a reminder but they didn't respond. Very poor experience.
