"Extremely rude customer service"

Extremely rude customer service!

I was sent a link to make payment with no invoice attached, despite this as I know there is a time scale for payments to be made I made the payment immediately. The next day they realised their error and then sent an email with invoice attached, at this point I realised my address details were incorrect on the invoice and not the ones that should be showing on the system despite details being updated. I quickly emailed panicked that this would mean the parcel would now be shipped to the wrong address requesting where/how they got this address and going forward how can this be corrected to be shipped to the right address. I recieved an email response from Autumn with no acknowledgement or apology to most of my message and instead was told just send my new address to update. This I did and advised again had I had the invoice before payment this would have been picked up sooner and highlighted their failure to apologise for not providing this invoice. The response I received next was shocking and is attached! As a business customer care is important , and being able to sympathise and understand your buyers frustrations, yet I was told what are they apologising to me foršŸ˜‚šŸ¤¦šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø shocking they have now lost a customer and would suggest some staff training in customer care

"Average but could be better"

Most of the items I have had have been good but when things do go wrong which they occasionally do trying to contact customer services is virtually impossible. Since I finally managed to speak with someone a couple of weeks ago re non delivery of items I have heard nothing. I have tried over 120 times by phone to both branches and not had a reply, it’s either rang out or been hung up. I also sent an email via their contact form and haven’t received a reply from that either. I’m hoping for better things as I have outstanding items for delivery. Hoping for better things in the future. If they can sort out customer services then I could see this being 5 star. If not other auction houses are available and at least you can get to speak to their customer service. I don’t know how you would go on if you wanted an appraisal of an item.it won’t stop me using them as 99% of the items are good value.

Refund may be coming off non delivered items.
Just received my latest delivery of 2 items one has missing items but I can make do. The other a car baby seat with broken part which you cannot get repaired for safety reasons so that is Ā£61 down.safety goods for children shouldn’t be sold full stop. Very disappointed in response from them. I don’t think I will use them again so I have dropped my rating to 2 star

"Do not buy online from International Auctions"

Only buy from this company if you can personally inspect the goods. They frequently use the wrong photos and incorrect descriptions for their online auctions and the likelihood is you get an incomplete or non-working product. There are plenty of other auctioneers who provide better photos and descriptions regarding the state of their products. as they state: we sell unchecked/untested raw returns, auctioned as salvaged unless stated.

My dealings with this company today 9th October 2023.

Hello,
I am afraid to inform you that I am withdrawing my bid on the above item as of now 13:50 hours Monday 9th Octoner. My reasons are as follows:-

1. I placed a bid at the same as above Huddersfield Site on Saturday 7th October 2023 at 15:00 hours (3 hours before the auction started) on lot 101 for £20.00. I saw further down the listing items 168 and 169 and so I placed bids on those two items and immediately telephoned to withdraw my bid on item 101 to which I was answered by an answer machine and as advised I left a message. To cover my back, I also emailed the sale room withdrawing my bid on item 101.

2. I recived a notice yesterday (Sun 8th) that I was successful on all three items and so this morning (Mon 9th) at 9am, I telephoned the number given 0800 689 168 which turns out NOT TO BE IN SERVICE ANYMORE. So, I telephoned the main number 01254917238 3 (three) times choosing options 1, 2 and 3 and each time I didn't get any answer at all except after a time on all three options I was cut off.

3. I emaild again this morning (9th) the following:-

I placed a bid for item 101 on Saturday 7th October for your Huddersfield auction but then I saw items 168 and 169 to which I bid on and won.

As to item 101, I telephoned your Huddersfield number on Saturday 7th at 3:00pm and was told by recorded message that no-one was there but to leave a message to which I did cancelling my bid on item 101. To cover my back so-to-speak, I immediately sent a confirmation e-mail again cancelling my bid.

I have received an invoice (listed above) which includes the item 101 and this morning at 9am I telephoned your number 01254917238 3 (three) times choosing options 1, 2 and 3 and each time I didn't get any answer at all except after a time on all three options I was cut off.

Now, it is not my fault that your organisation does not have the capacity on your websites for bidders to withdraw their bids before the auction except, and when reading your instructions to withdraw, your advise is to telephone a number "in your terms" 0800 689 1681 which is "NO LONGER IN USE" or to use the email which I did.

So my question is will you please provide another invoice without the cost and charges for item 101 or, cancell the whole thing.

4. I received a reply to the above message and I block and copy below "" to which I add, there was no salutation as to who sent it what-so-ever:-

"I have sent you a new invoice without lot 101, please note this is the only time i will do this for you as once you bid on an item and win it it is then yours."

5. I replied with the following:-

I thank you for supplying a revised invoice without item 101 and I note your comments (without any reference as to who sent it) that once an item has been bid on and won, then it belongs to the bidder (once paid for) however, can you please inform me as to where (what paragraph) it states in your "terms and conditions" that bidders cannot under any circumstances withdraw their bids.

6. I HAVE NOT received any response to the above message, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED an updated link for direct payment, I find that the customer service is RUDE, CURT and to be truthful NON-EXISTENT. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REPLY to my question above and together in the past, I have requested 7 times before information on items that says in the description "the picture is the discription" and all thye picture is a blank box!!! NEVER EVER ONCE have I received a reply before, during or even after the auctions.

To end, I now refuse to pay the revised Invoice Number 100201 for £69:24 and International Auctions can keep items 168 & 169 and to close, I WILL NEVER EVER BID WITH THAT COMPANY AGAIN. I have placed bids in the past with other Auction Houses and always found their staff to be helpfull, polite and a pleasure to deal with.

"Generally ok"

Generally ok, a lot of stuff is broken mind,Beware of the jewellery sales, the appraisal prices are ridiculous, I bought a ring for Ā£1200 with valuation and paperwork for Ā£6k, was looking to see if it was worth buying and selling them,,, it wasn’t, was offered Ā£200 gold value for it, no other jewellery shops will touched

"I've been using this site for several…"

I've been using this site for several months now, and I can't praise them enough, especially one of the admins (A).
I have bought amazing stuff at a fraction of the price, ok some stuff are return, but the work and are usually good quality. Had one or two hiccups, sorted immediately by "A" no question.
I find it hard to believe their rating is so low. Probably people who a impatient and rude complaining.
Thank you to all the team at International Auctions you are amazing.

"AVOID THIS COMPANY!!"

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!
This company has gone from bad to worse. Recently I’ve had items that I have not received and paid over Ā£400 for those items. They now are not replying to my emails or calls and I’m out of pocket by Ā£400. This is the typical behaviour of a scammer, take your money and don’t deliver the item and ignore your calls.
Even the items you purchase are advertised as new, but they are worn off and clear sign of use.
