Some of the meal kits are so good, you feel you are having a good restaurant meal! They are very healthy and really up diversity in your diet. As a vegan , I am always aiming for 30+ plants every week. We are really enjoying the meals. Thank you

"Delicious and nutritious"

Fresh Prep consistently has delicious food and allows for a slightly smaller order which is paramount for me. Portion sizes are generous and there is lots of choice in what I select. The packaging is minimal, herbs and veggies are fresh (no pun intended) and I get to try food I would otherwise never cook. Overall can't be more pleased. Great Job Fresh Prep!

"Saved my sanity"

Overall Fresh Prep is amazing. If it weren't for them, I'd still be eating out too much. However, wherever they source their beef though is hit and miss, I find. Sometimes too fatty and chewy. Sometimes there's not enough variation in meals (a lot of asian and mexican), I would like to see some italian and greek etc. But the quality of the ingredients is wonderful, the instructions are easy to follow, and the flavours are always on point. I like their point system that can be redeemed for credit towards your next week's meals. I especially love the zero waste - portions are generally perfect and the reusable containers or otherwise recyclable/compostable material is genius.

UPDATE: I was emailed by Fresh Prep and I feel confident this problem will be resolved and I'm grateful that they appreciate my business enough to make this right. Because really, they have fantastic menu items to choose, not too expensive and there has only been one meal I didn't love. I order every week so that's a lot of meals that we love!
Before:
I would have rated Fresh Prep at a 4 star, but in the last month the driver REFUSES to deliver our order to our door as they are supposed to (this is also to pick up the bag from the week before). I've called customer service at least two times about this issue and they assured me it would not happen again. Yet it has happened for 3 times in the last month. Tonight the driver did not even buzz me. I got the usual text saying that it was delivered but no one had buzzed me. So, I had to run 4 floors down to find it in the front entrance. I don't understand. I pay a good amount each week and door delivery is supposed to be part of the service. Why this driver doesn't bring it to our door is extremely frustrating! Obviously customer service is not providing any help either. This is Very bizarre. Before this we never had an issue before. Now I need to escalate this to a manager. And also the meat this time was half thawed; not "food safe". Very disappointed and confused. It seems it is hard to find good employees who care about customer service/satisfaction. I think I will stop ordering from them to protest this extremely bad service.

"The Great Canadian easy meal solution"

Of the meal kits available in BC outside of Vancouver, Fresh Prep is the best available option. I have tried a few different options and found them to be the best. AND there is less waste with this service as they bring the food in reusable thermal bags as well as some meals come in reusable containers (zero waste) — the food is usually very good as well and if it isn’t, they usually make it right pretty quickly. This is a company you can trust. It is the best meal kit service in BC at the time of my writing this (in my personal opinion). There are ready to eat, ready to cook, and a variety of other options including salads and wraps to take to work. The nutrition information is explicit and easy to find before ordering as well as any preparation instructions with the difficulty given on a scale. The interface is nice.

If you’re looking to support POC/immigrants/women/British Columbians buying from this company does that as well. It is Canadian to its core.

Edit: Also they use their own drivers rather than using another company (or gig workers). This is another example of their social responsibility— As a customer this benefits us because they deliver even on statutory holidays. I appreciate that the drivers bring the food to my unit, this is especially helpful. Further for reference I have used another meal kit service for about a year, a different one a handful of times, and have ordered from FP around 40 times or more.

Delicious but easy recipes (much better than other meal prep services I’ve tried), timely reliable delivery, quick and responsive customer service. I like the flexibility to order as little as 2 or more meals per week as sometimes we are out or away on weekends. This has also prompted my teenager to take the lead on cooking sometimes!
