I went to the store in Sherwood AR in September 2022 and spent $1,697.00 which included a warranty. When the furniture was delivered, they put a huge long dent/scratch down the hallway in my brand new house. I didn’t make a huge deal because things happen. One of the pillows has black marker all over it, again I just got it off the best I could and don’t make a big deal. Two months later the entire bottom is falling out of my sectional and is basically useless. I report it to the warranty company and they approve a new sofa. The store calls me and tells me to come and get it. I say no, I only have a car, don’t know anybody in this state, and paid $160 to have it delivered the first time. It’s not my fault your furniture fell apart. I was told they had nobody to deliver it that week and they could do it later. I waited an entire month and called again, still nobody to deliver my couch. So basically I spent almost 2 grand on furniture and a delivery and have no couch to sit on. Terrible experience and a waste of money.

"American Freight cannot complete orders"
American Freight has now cancelled two orders. Torrence location said the washer/dryer set is no longer available and then said they can't deliver over 50 miles. Online it allows delivery for $170 which I was going to pay. If there is a 50 mile rule, they should make it clear. I think they just don't want to drive to deliver and when they saw it was 55 miles, suddenly both items become "unavailable". I now have thousands of pending charges on my card that could take weeks to process.

"China Grove,NC False advertising"
In China Grove,NC they advertise stuff that they don't have. Not to mention they didn't even try to offer a different item for the same price as advertised. Went in there sign says 298.00 nothing in there was under 500.00. False advertising..smh

"Worst place to buy furniture"
Worst place to buy furniture, poor quality, easily breaks during delivery. Don't waste your time and money. Their website/adds are just to attract customers to drive extra mile, but in reality, you will get poor/damaged/mostly returned furniture.

"Company is very dishonest"
Company is scamming . I purchased a box spring a bed washer and dryer months ago it was a hassle getting them to send my box spring for days I would call and ask where it was and after I paid with the in store credit which I’ve consistently been making payments on and finally had it paid off I see a random transaction today to my account for over a thousand almost half of the credit available . I keep on calling people and everyone keeps saying they don’t know anything about it though they see the transaction in my account I should call other people . Since I told the store in Columbus that it was charged at their store they said they hadn’t seen anyone charge the account and since have not picked my calls to inquire about a refund . It’s terrible . Don’t buy here

I Am Writing because I Purchased Two Finance Leases and Paid them Both off in 3 Months. I Cannot Believe I was going to Refinance Another Living Room Set Since it’s Been less than 2 Years and the Cushions are Peeling. I Cannot Believe I was Denied. The Living Room Set didn’t last as Long as I thought So I go to See About Financing Again and No. That’s Crazy I thought when you finish a Purchase your chances Get Better not Worse. To Say the Least the Call Center is Very little Help. I am Surprised AF I Paid my Things off.

"Delivery Guys Aggressive towards Elderly Customer"
I witnessed the most disturbing acts of aggression from two delivery guys working for this company towards an elderly customer they were delivering furniture to. Myself and others watched as the delivery guys yelled at and cussed at the customer. Afterwards they sped off in the company box truck and nearly caused an accident as they were leaving. I called the manager, Nate, to inform him of the incident and initially he tried to downplay it saying that he had heard about the incident and “talked” with the guys but then proceeded to act annoyed that I asked if anything more was going to be done. Those guys should have been fired on the spot! I would NEVER recommend using this company or allowing them in your home. They are disrespectful, unprofessional, and beyond rude.

"Not willing to help"
I attempted to purchase a washer/dryer combo this morning online. Unbeknownst to me, my bank had previously flagged my credit card for possible fraud, due to some other purchases I'd made. So, the online purchase declined a few times. I then called my bank, and got everything cleared up. After speaking with them, I attempted the online transaction again, and it appeared to go through. I am/was making this purchase from Texas, for a pick up in Wisconsin by the renter of my rental property out there. He drove an hour to pick it up. While there, he was told there was no order in the system. So, I called customer service and was told that because my credit card was declined multiple times, they'd (rather, their fraud prevention TPA) flagged it as possible fraud, and so the transaction wasn't taking place. I asked how we could remove the flag, and was told we couldn't. I asked for a supervisor and spoke with 'Cory' (do not recall last name). Cory - though nice enough - was unwilling to let me speak with his supervisor, and was unwilling or unable to help clear the transaction. My only options, I was told, were to a) go into the store in person (again, I'm in TX, and this was a unit in WI), or to use a different credit card (which I didn't want to do, as that card has a zero balance).
I get the concept of needing to have fraud protection, but the inability to undo a flag is unacceptable. I will be proactively steering people away from ever purchasing at American Freight. I would be willing to - and will advise any others I speak with - spend a little more money elsewhere SOLELY to avoid doing further business with American Freight.
Absolutely horrid way of doing business.
