"Voiding Gift Cards"
Thank you for the chance to share my feedback! I want to first and foremost, recognize James for their prompt and friendly assistance! 5 of out 5 stars here.
However, we are continually frustrated by the inability to void out gift cards here on-location on the back end of Upserve. Our previous POS system had this function which saved so much time and energy. It is not uncommon that gift cards are lost either in the mail or with the patron, and voiding/reissuing is an important part of our company's mission to provide the best customer service that we can.
We would love to see this function in a recent software update.

I have not been able to close out our grub hub orders for 2 months which is a hassle, but when I reach out via chat they close them out pretty quick. Hopefully they resolve this issue soon

Honesty wish I could remember who helped me and which issue it was, but honestly, everyone is SO VERY HELPFUL! Even if it's something I can do myself, they walk me through it so I can learn. I'm very appreciative for this support team!

I needed help with a house account, both confirmation of set up and how to reconcile once payment was collected in the future. On the chat line, the support person was very helpful in explaining the procedure and even offered to help me make the item button to get it accomplished. They also were very prompt in getting back to me with fast text/chat answers. Very helpful

As an Upserve partner, I had a merchant call into our company distressed and I reached out to Upserve for assistance. While it might appear that being a partner grants us a higher priority, that's not exactly true.
I can always count on Upserve to handle either myself or any merchant I send direct to Upserve Support in a prompt and professional manner. This is a great team! Kudos for a job well done.

"The customer service is lacking a…"
The customer service is lacking a little bit. The system doesn’t let you close out tickets that have been reopened to comp/void an item off the menu. We get random r/antiwork printouts on both our kitchen and receipt printers.
It’s not all bad, the system is very helpful with day to day operations and will break down everything to the smallest detail. I have faith in it, just us a few things that need to be worked out.
