It was a great travel!!
We went from Amersfoort to Prague and returned a week later.
We usely travel by (night) train and enjoy the view of the landscapes and towns.
Only postive points:
We sleept good
Friendy and helpful staff
Temperaturen o. k.
Train perfect in time
Bathroom and toilets clean and enough water and paper
Nice fellow passengers
It is really a super idea to have a nighttrain to your holiday.

"Pire expérience de voyage"

L’une de mes pires expériences de voyage.
Départ de Bruxelles en direction de Prague, on met 5heures en plus mais c’était prévu donc pas trop de stress
On s'arrête a minuit, une femme rentre dans la cabine où j'étais avec maman (le voyage était un cadeau pour ma maman), elle est avec son fils, elle fait ÉNORMÉMENT DE BRUIT et aucun respect pour nous qui dormions deja, le stewart passe et ne dis absolument rien. Le lendemain cette meme femme avait prise ces aises, malgre des demandes et un alertement au stewart, il n’y a rien eux
Ensuite vient le retour. Partir vers 19h de Prague arrive prévu a 8h a Bruxelles et là 10 MINUTES AVANT le départ on nous annonce un détour qui va nous faire rentrer a 13h, je contacte le service client qui m’envoye « bouler ». Je précise qu’un geste commercial serait apprécié mais non, car on a été prévenu, je cite « a l’avance »
Bref je déconseille très fortement malgré que je soutiens que les trains de nuit doivent être plus présent et remplacer les automobiles, cette société de train ne fait pas partie de la solution.

"Positive Entwicklung o"

Eigentlich wollten wir nach einer negativen Erfahrung vor 2 Jahren nicht mehr den Nachtzug von Berlin nach Holland ( Rotterdam) benutzen
Wir haben uns aber von dem Angebot eines Privatabteils für 100€ locken lassen- und können jetzt von einer perfekten Fahrt berichten: extrem freundliche Schaffnerin, sauberes Abteil, ausreichend Toilettenpapier und Seife und dazu bis auf die Minute pünktlich! Einen Stern Abzug haben wir nur wegen des relativ alten Wagenmaterials vorgenommen und weil die Buchung nur von Prag bis Brüssel angezeigt wurde, was bei der Schaffnerin für Verwirrung führte. Anders konnte das super günstige Angebot des Privat Abteils nicht gebucht werden. Kann man aber wirklich empfehlen!

"Fijne nachttrein vanuit Nederland "

Het reizen met de nachttrein van European Sleeper is een ware reis op zichzelf. De bedden zijn comfortabel en het personeel aardig. Ik hoop dat European Sleeper snel nieuwe dagelijkse verbindingen weet toe voegen. Wellicht naar Lissabon of Warschau?

"Overall a statisfying experience"

We traveled from Rotterdam to Bad Schandau to enjoy the national park there. Full disclosure: it's not our first trip with European Sleeper, and we have a stake in it (we joined the crowd funding). Staff usually (like in this trip specifically) is very nice and welcoming. As with any night train you gotta be lucky with your fellow passengers, and we were. There's a bottle of water for each passenger, which is nice as you're spending so many hours on the train. The material (sleeper cars) is old, and you notice: toilets are regularly out of order, beds aren't the most comfortable (though up to sleeper train standards), there's one plug per 6 people, etc. So I'm hoping they'll survive and get their own, modern equipment. Something they could improve is the pillows, which are a bit thin. But I do love the ability to open a window and hang out to check the view as you roll into a city or through natural landscapes.
