"DONT BOOK with them"
DONT BOOK with them. You’ll pay more than an official site and not get what you requested or paid for. Booked and paid the higher cost of a double (2) queen bed room as opposed to cheaper 1 king room as we’re 2 travellers who don’t share a bed. Also, Specifically wrote in note section to ensure 2 queen beds in quiet area of the Hilton hotel. Paid in full 2 days prior. When checked in Hilton advised that this 3rd party company had booked a single bed and they couldn’t change booking to the 2 beds booked. The only option was to bring in a child’s cot—I’m almost 6’ in height. Expected to sleep on a cot with a 5’base (pulled sheet off and slept on floor). This was nuts. The cot was something out of an old summer camp for a child not a tall adult. Called their call centre and the rep (an idiot to put it nicely ) said wow sorry to hear that. Offered no solutions and refused to credit the 45 it would have saved me directly paying to Hilton for room I requested. Offered no solutions or suggestions to keep me as a future customer or to solve problem (except to say at 10 pm at night after driving for 12 hours they could try and book me into another hotel in another city. -like I said “idiot”. Use Hilton or other hotel direct sites. Never use this company. Overpriced, paid days in advance and they will give you the cheapest availability they can get -not what you pay for. Live and learn what scammers and bad service are all about.

"Booking travel through Traveluro is a…"
Booking travel through Traveluro is a bad idea. And if you insure the trip, it is their sister company Xcover and they are just as shady. I was told by the Traveluro agent while on the phone that my trip would absolutely be refunded. I confirmed twice while on the phone because I could have sold my reservation to someone else as it was during a popular race and all hotels were sold out in the area. I cancelled my reservation directly with the hotel and they informed me that Traveluro received a full refund for my stay. However Travelero will not honor what they told me and have kept my money. Buyer beware!

"Avoid Traveluro at all costs!!! "
They had a hotel on their site that looked good and when I got there there was no hot water no ac, the hotel shouldn’t haven’t been running and it was a chain hotel! The chain hotel tried to move us to another hotel but since our booking was through traveluro they told us traveluro would have to release us of our hotel reservation before the hotel could help us transfer to another hotel. Simple. But no. Calling Traveluro made me realize they aren’t even a real company! You’ll never speak to anyone who can actually help you, they will lie they have a manager but when pressed and told you can wait on the phone they keep trying to lie “it would be too long of a wait to put them through” “oh they are out today.” Every excuse because there is no manager there is no office! They don’t even have an answering machine and weird “office hours” its just someone in another country answering phones and having no way to help anyone, they just record what you say. write it down and send an email saying they can’t help you. We tried for three days, many phone calls and emails of “can’t help sorry” and spoke to many people to try to get a refund or transfer out of a hotel that was unlivable and in terrible conditions. And again, the chain hotel was willing to help but traveluro doesn’t do refund/transfers nothing as they can’t do anything at all but answer the phone and make you repeat every detail of your reservation over and over, trying to run you in circles and put you on hold until you just give up. But we didn’t! Stayed on the phone showed proof of that place being unlivable and did all the things, just for them to write their email to say they can’t help. All in all, we lost our money and never spoke to any actual traveluro worker. They are a scam because it’s not a real company.

"Absolutely Terrible Experience"
Absolutely Terrible Experience - Avoid Traveluro.com
I had a nightmare of an experience with Traveluro.com. I booked a two-night stay at a hotel in New Mexico from August 14-16, 2024, and paid upfront. Upon arrival, the hotel informed me that my reservation was canceled and that I would need to pay directly to stay there. As I was traveling with my wife and kids, I had no choice but to pay again to secure a room.
When I contacted Traveluro.com to request a refund for the amount I had already paid, they were unhelpful and refused to issue any refund. I spent countless hours trying to resolve this issue, only to be met with unresponsive and evasive customer service. It felt like they were intentionally delaying and avoiding addressing the problem.
Be very careful—Traveluro.com appears to be a scam with no real customer service. I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company to attempt to recover my money. The entire experience was stressful and frustrating. I strongly recommend avoiding Traveluro.com at all costs. Their service is unreliable, and their customer support is a complete nightmare.

"Traveluro is a scam: stay away!"
Traveluro is a scam: stay away!
I booked a fully cancellable/refundable reservation through Traveluro. At the time, I believed I was completing my reservation through a reputable travel site and only found out that my reservation was booked directly with Traveluro after submitting my credit card information.
Unfortunately, my plans changed soon after and I needed to cancel the reservation.
First, I submitted a cancellation online and was told it would take three days for them to process the cancellation. (I took a screenshot to document this interaction.) After more than five business days, I called customer service to follow up since I received no confirmation or refund. After reciting a litany of information to them over the phone (including… reservation number, name, email, phone number, name of the hotel, check in and check out dates, address of the hotel), I was told at that time (normal business hours) that no agent was available to assist me and I would receive a call back within 2 hours. I never received a call back. I called again the following day, recited the same litany of information to three different customer service agents in succession with hold times in between each interaction. After 30 minutes on the phone, they finally sent me a cancellation confirmation Email about 15 minutes after the call ended. My refund is still processing and I am hoping for the best.
I have traveled extensively and worked as a travel agent. I have dealt with many hotels and agencies. I have never had such a difficult time with a cancellable reservation. Thank goodness I canceled my reservation and did not have to deal with their customer service while traveling. I have since read the horror stories of customers who did have to go through this!
This company will do whatever they can to hold onto your money and only the most hardened and determined of customer service warriors will succeed in getting the refund they are entitled to. Believe me, whatever discount they are offering is not worth it! Just book direct through your hotel or use a reputable travel site or agent.

"I have been staying at the comfort Inn…"
I have been staying at the comfort Inn at 2775 Van Ness Ave., San Francisco since becoming a Lung Transplant patient at UCSF Medical Center since 2016. During that time the attendance at the front desk, Eva and Jean have become like family. Whether checking out or checking in, those two have been the highlight of my stay. They are always happy to see you, polite, concerned, compassionate, and beyond helpful. If it wasn’t for those two, I don’t think I would stay at the Comfort Inn. Eva and Jean are the most accommodating and kind people in the hospitality business. I cannot say enough about their dedication to customer service and satisfaction.

"SCAM"
SCAM
SCAM. Went to hotel on the day and traveluro hadn't sent our booking to the hotel at all. Called customer service with international number with huge roaming cost and was told it would be rectified. Called again & Was told twice that an agent would call me back but no result. Stuck at hotel for last 3 hours waiting for their response. Not sure if I book another hotel in higher price now and have to follow them up for refund. Better to avoid them.
