"Unfortunately horrifying "

Unfortunately, like most others, I am unable to offer 0 ratings for what is without a doubt Ireland's worst customer service. My order was collected two weeks ago for delivery, but it has not yet arrived at my house, and the excuse was that there was no phone number to contact. I phoned customer support three times to provide my phone details, and there has been no indication of my products being delivered. Avoid at all costs. There is no good customer service, and if you do get through, you might as well not have tried.Absolutely horrifying.

"Get ready for the lies"

2 months in a row GLS think it’s ok to lie. Last month they said they attempted a delivery and were unsuccessful. They never came, no card, 2 adults, 1 noisy German Shepherd and 4 CCTV cameras showed no-one came. We were home all day.

This month they email saying they have delivered my parcel 4 hours ago. Again 2 adults here all day, the same barky dog and no delivery was made. I phone customer Service and I am told my Eircode is correct but someone called Rebecca 30km took delivery of my dog food. Onus back on me to see if my parcel will come in the next 3 days and then apparently as a good will gesture they’ll refund me if it’s missing. Really!!!! Terrible and incompetent service that then gaslights you with their lies on every delivery! I’d give no stars if I could and will cancel my dog food subscription with Petmania only because they use GLS

"Better off hiring a carrier pigeon"

Better off hiring a carrier pigeon. Red raw useless. Package meant to be delivered on Friday, never showed, rang them and they said the driver didn't have time to deliver it ( I live 20 mins from the depot). I thought then the package would be delivered on Monday but nothing. Rang head office again and they informed me that they have no phone number for the depot. Still movement on the package. A bunch of clowns

"GLS Very Poor Service"

GLS Complain
I’m very unhappy with GLS service.
Shipment has been marked as “Out for delivery during the day” for 5 consecutive days and every evening status has changed to “The parcel could not be delivered as the consignee was absent.” Despite the fact I was at home all day. I called Customer Service several times and explanation was always different – broken van, driver was overloaded and couldn’t deliver that day etc.. Finally it was delivered on the 5th day morning (Saturday – even thou on GLS website it shows they don’t deliver on Saturdays or Sundays). Thankfully I was at home. One outer box was heavily damaged but product inside was fine (only because product was not fragile and not easy to damaged but still.)

"If trustpilot would allow zero star…"

If trustpilot would allow zero star reviews then it would still be too much of a positive for gls.
This isn't a service, it's a lottery of will i get my package or not.
No customer service and if you do happen to get through then you may as well not have bothered in trying.
Absolutely horrendous.

I'd happily pay a supplier extra to use someone else to courier my items and gls are more often than not the reaon i don't purchase from certain online retailers.

Absolutely atrocious “service”. Twice now a return has been cancelled. Once by last minute phone call and second by waiting all day only to have them never turn up. A call to their “customer service line” was beyond a waste of time.

Doesn't reply to email and phone always busy no matter how long you wait. Tracking useless as it doesn't tell you were your parcel went, except to "final parcel destination". Not very helpful. Avoid if you can

"Negative in all respects"

I cannot rank this company low enough. Only a negative star rating would be justified for this company’s delivery service. I have close on 200 reviews on Google maps, all as fair as I can make them, NONE have ever been as bad as this.
The company website says ‘most of our parcels are delivered within 24 hours’. Plainly and emphatically untrue. Read this and some of the other reviews to determine the truth.
I had a parcel dropped off by a customer at the GLS Galway depot 18 days ago. I live in Navan, as yet, I have not received the parcel. 18 DAYS and counting.
Despite daily emails and phone calls, GLS are still unable to trace the whereabouts of the parcel.
The customer service department can only be described as dire. There are promises of updates but there is no sign of any action.
When asked how long it takes before GLS admit that the parcel is lost, I was told the investigation takes a minimum of 9 working days. Ludicrous.
Ask to speak to a manager and you’ll find they ‘have just slipped out’. Will the manager call me back please? 'I'll ask but I can't promise you a call back.'
Nobody takes responsibility, nobody has ownership.
I have left it with the seller to claim from GLS for their loss.
Deal with this company at your own peril.

"I have been using this company for over…"

I have been using this company for over 10 years. Packages sent from Poland to Ireland always arrive on time and undamaged! When a package arrives from the continent to Ireland, it is delivered the same day. Great service.

"AVOID"

If you want to buy something but they use GLS to ship just find an alternative if you can. WORST courier company ever, worse than Fastway and that says a lot since i thought it couldn't get worse.
