"Surprised this company is still in business"

I ordered something from a local Irish retailer and got a notification that it was posted with GLS. Tracking number says it was out for delivery yesterday and today and despite being home all day, no sign of any GLS van! I do pretty much all my shopping online and have never come across any retailer using GLS before (I wonder why!?)... I would definitely never buy again from any retailer using GLS as their courier! Meanwhile DPD and AnPost still delivers reliable overnight here up to Xmas, no bother.

"Very unhelpful"

Very unhelpful, refused to deliver to door of ground floor apartment. Heavy parcel dumped in gateway to carpark. Very poor communication on delivery date/time also. I will avoid ordering from any companies that use GLS for deliveries.

Unfortunately a package went missing after delivery by GLS. The package was delivered and so GLS were not responsible, the delivery driver, Denis, was extremely professional and managed the situation in a pleasant and genuine manner. I am very satisfied will the service that GLS provide.

Woeful service. Waited 14 days for a delivery that was supposed to take 3-5 days.
Was told twice to have someone at home to receive the delivery which didn't turn up. 2 wasted days.
Told on the phone yesterday that the driver would be there soon.
He got here today.

"Avoid!! Totally unreliable & deceitful company"

If I could give 0 stars I would. I really couldn't be more disgusted and angry about a service if I tried. To think that a delivery driver has blatantly lied, confirming my delivery, which did not happen, is sickening. I don't understand how any merchants use this company as their courier service. I DID NOT receive my parcel as indicated by GLS. I contacted their customer service who assured me they would give 3 days for the driver to make contact with me, (which he/she didn't do), then the complaint would be escalated. I updated the lady in customer service of this, to this day I have have had no other response. I've forwarded my complaint to the merchant I purchased from and they are sending a replacement order. To my shock & dismay, they are still using GLS to do this. Surely if a customer has proven GLS' incompetence and unreliable service, they'd make the decision to send my replacement order with someone else? Nope...what are you all thinking! Do you think we all want to waste our time posting negative reviews. Believe me, I've much better things to be doing, I just can't let this go without informing others how bad they are. Get a grip store owners and STOP using GLS. An extremely unreliable courier service

"The worst company in terms of package…"

The worst company in terms of package delivery, the time when the package will be delivered and the rudeness of the agents and managers in the customer service... they send fake e-mails and make promises and they don't fulfill any of that and they just waste our time waiting for them to deliver or pick up every day package...they are definitely legit scammers and the worst and most disgusting company I have come across...

"Poor service…"

At this moment I am having a really poor experience with this delivery company, I've received a few emails saying my parcel couldn't be delivered, after receiving the first email I replied asking why the parcel wasn't left in the wood shed as stated on the front door, I was asked for confirmation of my address etc, yet here I am still waiting to receive it and being told via email that said parcel is out today! It clearly isn't and I'm still left with no item or trying to understand why it's not arriving. Very poor service and disappointed as this is a subscription delivery and looks like I'm stuck with this carrier, I think it might be time to cancel my subscription and go elsewhere.

"Shocking service . "

Shocking service ! Hard to believe but true.
Was waiting on a parcel from Italy and was not going to be at home so decided I would use their pick up service from one of their “parcel shops”. Got a text saying they had delivered parcel to parcel shop. Went to collect it but shop told me they had’nt worked with GLS for 4 years !!! They didn’t even have a scanner!
Got back onto GLS ( no apology) who said it would be delivered to my home address within 3 days. 3 days later got a text to say it was at the original “parcel shop”. Called in again to shop just to double check. Of course it wasn’t there. Afterwards sent numerous texts/emails to GLS who assured me it would be delivered to a different parcel shop. Couldn’t give me the address of new parcel shop as it wasn’t on their system yet.
Still waiting…..
They don’t give a shit. I’m the fool.

"Reliable."

I have used GLS on a few occasions now, and have yet to have a bad experience. My delivery arrives, with a confirmation that its arrived, as I am often out. I cannot find fault and would recommend them.

"parcel not picked up for at least one week!!!"

Left a parcel in the GLS drop-off location in Tipperary a week ago (28/11/2024), and today (week later, 5/12/2024), the parcel is still there. I haven't got any confirmation, so I had to take picture of the parcel in the shop, with the shop owner, and even tracking did not update, and still shows: "The parcel data was entered into the GLS IT system; the parcel was not yet handed over to GLS." I and the staff from the GLS Shop have contacted GLS multiple times, to request pick up, and they are just promising something to keep you quiet for another day. Tracking: ZBJNY845
