"For 11 days they are unable to cover several kilometers"

For 11 days "parcel is expected to be delivered during the day". Numerous attempts to contact and lies that parcel will be delivered next day. Sender contacted them several times, every time providing address and phone number. He was fed the same lies that parcel will be delivered next day. After 11 days the status changed to "further address information is needed". When I called the employee said the parcel (from EU) was sent to customs and gave me a number. The number was a generic one and I was bounced from department to department. Of course they did not have my parcel. I called GLS again, somebody else picked up and parcel suddenly was not in customs but "the phone number was missing". The phone that was several times provided to them.

"If I could give 0 stars I would "

If I could give 0 stars I would , this company does not seem to deliver to Waterford in Ireland . they have said twice they attempted delivery yet no one came to the house to attempt it at all. Further information is needed for delivery but no one is contacting me . when requesting a call, they do not do so! They have held a package at their depot for 3 weeks now and ruined my cats monthly food order now that the company has taken them on.
They said they were experiencing a backlog in the depot so orders were taking time to be delivered..I wonder why, I’m sure it’s cause the delivery drivers are not actually doing their jobs! Maybe they could do with replacing their drivers with actual humans that will deliver!!
Since they can’t deliver to the house and may be having an issue with the address I have requested , by email - for them to deliver the order to the local parcel shop they are linked up with because of course their website is not accepting my request to do so!
yet again, no movement on this delivery as i go into the fourth week of waiting for the delivery - thanks for all the hassle -

your delivery company should be shut down because you do not provide the service you claim to.

"What a horrible experience!!"

What a horrible experience!!! My parcel should be delivered 8 days ago. On the delivery day I was all day at home, however I never got my package and after checking tracking number I found out that my parcel was not delivered because I have rejected it..... you can imagine my surprise.....nobody is replaying to my email. When I am calling GLS phone is busy .. I am 13th in the que for an hour long... no comments, totally disappointed.

"Would recommend "

Got my package today , arrived in time - very big and heavy package , delivered driver brought it right into house and was so kind , my only -1 star is the facts that they don’t update the tracker enought my package was stuck in france for 5 days but still got it delivered in the time frame .

"GLS only delivers on a Friday with me..."

Had an update ay 06:40 that my package would be delivered throughout the course of the day and I made sure there was someone there ALL DAY only to get a notification at 18:32 telling me "the delivery could not be made because the consignee was absent" which is a total lie - looking back on my security camera recordings there was NO delivery attempt made.
This is a common theme in my experience of GLS where I live - this message about the consignee being "absent" is only given because there's no option on the computer to be honest and select "delivery not made because your address is too far away for one or two packages to be worth our drivers journey".
I usually only get GLS deliveries on a Friday because of this.

"The worst of the worse courier companies "

No Customer service whatsoever, E.mails never replied to . No delivery attempt either. It looks like they make a delivery attempt whenever they feel like it. The best thing that can happen to this so called courier is ceasing to exist.

"Terrible service "

I have never had a good experience with GLS, the few times that I have had to use them I have had parcels delivered to the wrong address or lost. I spent 2 days on the phone to customer service and never actually got through to anyone.
Absolutely awful experience.

"59% 1star reviews - No surprise!"

59% 1star reviews! Abysmal company.
Same experience as most reviews on here…claiming nobody was home when they are and that was after just not delivering at all the previous day and now day 3 saying goods in their store until they get a fuller address - they have a full address incl.Eir code.
Parcel came through GLS Poland and France with no issue but once it hit GLS Ireland their ineptitude and poor attitude kicked in - not to mention the lies about nobody home!
A review 6 hours ago on here mentions customer service being overheard laughing and jeering about an e mail they’d just received yesterday - probably mine. I dared to ask about the lies! I can imagine they found that amusing.
No way to get through on phone..no reply to e mail…dreadful lack of service.

"says delivered, never arrived "

Item says delivered and signed for by someone but i was at home all day waiting for the package so it wouldn't be moved to the warehouse, never showed up.
Was at position 9 on the phone for 40 mins, Only moved to position 5 cause the people ahead of me hung up, and then I jumped back to position 11. I'm not expecting a reply to my email any time soon.
