I couldn’t be happier with services provided by gls. I recently had problems trying to return a parcel to a certain company who were being particularly slow and somewhat evasive in dealing with my return request. It was actually causing me a lot of stress as the item cost me a lot of money but a very helpful and polite gls courier driver by the name of Adam sorted the whole thing out for me . He went above and beyond all to help and I am very grateful, Kathryn

The worst delivery company I ever meet!
Since summer I tried to just ignore GLS lack of profesionalism but I am tired of it now. When I see my parcels will be delivered by GLS I know for sure I will have a headache about it. I don’t know who is delivering here in the town I live but never calls or knock at my door, always drops my parcels at my neighbours which are an agency and if they are close GLS are just sending a message how they missed me when sometimes I am all day home waiting for a call or knock on the door!!! For example today I had a parcel for which my boyfriend was very excited, we checked in the morning and it showed is out for delivery, I checked again around 1 or so and it showed it couldn’t be delivered per my instructions to the driver. I NEVER EVER SPOKEN WITH THE DRIVER SO I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT INSTRUCTIONS ARE THEY LYING ABOUT. This company is a disgrace and I wish I could have an option where to choose because I will never choose GLS !!!

They called at my door at 22:05pm on a thursday when everyone was in bed. Rang the bell once...when no one answered straight away they left the parcel sitting on the front wall uncovered and unhidden. A wall where anyone could have walked by and picked it up and walked off. There was no note saying that they had called posted in the letter box so if the parcel was taken by a passer by we'd never have known. Only that our dog kept barking we'd have been unaware they knocked. Disgraceful service. Avoid if at all possible.

Great service received today in Wicklow town, was awaiting my parcel after receiving a notification to say it would arrive. Arrive on time and with such a happy and cheerful man Richard. Kids were delighted to receive new toys from the postman. Many thanks again Richard great service.

"Don't use GLS internationally"
I gave this company a great review a few weeks back but unfortunately I need to update this. Nationally they are great but internationally they are shockingly poor. I have made 2 orders with a company in Poland over the past month and each time my delivery has gotten stuck in a black hole for days somewhere in France, with zero information on their tracking app. Then I get a standard email telling me that my parcel 'is unfortunately delayed.' When I contacted their customer service dept. who answer promptly, I am simply told that there is a delay, but not why or where my package is. They are very unhelpful and would put the C.I.A to shame.
Avoid using GLS internationally.
Having put this review onine. I had in the meantime ordered another parcel from the same company in Poland and this time it took longer; 13 days to be precise. Why?
Thank you for responding to my query but I've had deliveries from other companies in the meantime which didn't take half as long?

"disgusting service!"
disgusting service! The courier left my parcel in some store that is more than 30 km from me! I wasn't even informed about this until I started looking for the package. The service responded that the road was allegedly closed, although this was a lie. My second parcel was supposed to be delivered on January 17, but it still hasn’t arrived. GLS promised that it should have been delivered yesterday, but it hasn’t arrived again.

"Unreliable and don`t care about customers"
Very disappointed with GLS services in Limerick. I ordered a collection and was waiting a whole day at home, only for the driver to never show up. I emailed customer support and they told me there was something wrong with the address. I sent on same address again....it is not difficult to find our house and the same driver has delivered and picked up goods from the same house a few times already. They rescheduled for another day, only for me to wait in the house again and for the driver to never show up. When I emailed again, they told me that apparently, the goods weren't ready for collection yet. Even though me and box were waiting on them the whole day and they never showed up. I lost my patience with them and will never use them again.

Was told by email yesterday that my package would be delivered today. They arrive at my house with a package for my husband and not mine. Driver said they are made busy.
