"Parcel in transit for 5 days"

Parcel in transit for 5 days. I've emailed and called. No response to email and phone lines say they are down all the time via automated menu. Clearly they are avoiding customer contact. Absolute rubbish customer service.

"GLS customer service issues."

I have been trying to contact GLS to redirect a parcel, but I am having no luck. I have tried to call them but cannot get through - I hear an automated message telling me that their phone lines are down.

I have sent numerous emails to them - the first one I sent a week ago - I received a response where they told me to call or email them again when the parcel arrived in Ireland. I have tried to contact them since I saw the parcel arrived in Ireland, but have received no response from them so far.

This has been a pretty disappointing customer experience.

"Delivery never arrived "

Delivery never arrived
- received email to say my parcel was delivered at 10.09 this morning while I was at work. I didn’t receive a call from the driver. I returned home from work and my parcel is nowhere to be seen. Offices close at 5pm so can’t contact anyone. Tracking says parcel delivered!!

"Worst service ever"

Booked a large box to be brought to a parcel shop, the owner of the shop told me GLS won't be in to collect it for weeks.
Trying to get in touch with their customer service for a refund, nobody is answering all morning. Worst service ever.

"I was waiting over 2 weeks for my…"

I was waiting over 2 weeks for my parcel which was coming from Dublin to Cork. I got in contact with the sender and he contacted GLS. Apparently the parcel was delivered to a local parcel shop. Nobody noticed me or the sender. It's a disgrace. I'm currently waiting for another parcel from Italy and cannot get through to GLS by phone nor email. I was on hold for 40 minutes and I was number 1 in the queue. I couldn't wait any longer so hung up. Complete disaster

"No problem to deliver my parcel at a…"

No problem to deliver my parcel at a rural area.

Always check your delivery address on the bill. Sometimes some details are missing, especially when it comes from outside Ireland.
If you are not sure, just send an email with your details to customer support. That's what I did and it works.

Anyway, GLS never lost one of my parcels in 20 years.

"Don't waste your money with GLS"

Don't waste your money with GLS, worst service ever. Told it takes 3-4 days for package to be delivered from Italy to Ireland and it's been almost 2 weeks now and no sign of it. Update has not changed from leaving somewhere in Germany 7 days ago. 1 star is to much but no options for 0... Avoid at all costs
Finally arrived, reply from GLS saying it was out of there control....your a courier company... delivery from one place to another is your business, it is your fault don't try to palm it off.

"Marking parcel as delivered when it isn't "

Waiting for a parcel to arrive after driver marked it as "collected" when my husband and I were on holidays and couldn't get it. I've read on Google Maps that's their common practice.

Weeks without any info and after I called on Friday two weeks ago, a very unpleasant person at the phone told me she will schedule redelivery on Monday or I can collect it from Carlow depot, 80km from my address.

I've asked for rescheduling, she ignored it.

I called once again last Thursday, another customer service person (nicer this time) told me she will reschedule redelivery and the package will arrive "some time next week".

Yesterday my husband called, they've said the parcel will arrive today. Still waiting, still no sign of a parcel or a courier and we can't call customer service because the automatic responder says "the lines are down due to maintenance".

Absolute disgrace.

"Worst delivery company ever"

Worst delivery company ever. After 6 phone calls and 2 emails still no update on package that was out on delivery for 4 days. Apparently it's left beside the plant pot, what an excuse. Now driver has a week to come up with more excuses for not delivering.

I will never order online/ or use any company that uses GLS ever again.


Response to GLS reply:
No the package was never delivered. I re purchased the goods from the vendor. They have since refunded me the original and no have a claim in against the delivery. Best of luck to them in getting a refund, I wouldn't fancy dealing with GLS on this matter.
