"Worst"

Over a week for an envelope from Galway to Wexford. Was out for delivery today (Friday), it wasn’t delivered. This is the third time this happened in a row with GLS, all within the country. Shocking.

Edit: The parcel was delivered next day (Saturday).

"Unreliable and Unresponsive"


My experience with GLS shipping has been utterly disappointing. After a month since placing my order, my package remains in limbo for 14 days without any tracking updates. Despite multiple attempts to reach out via email, I've received no response. The lack of communication and the prolonged delay in delivery are unacceptable. It's frustrating and infuriating. I'm left in the dark about the whereabouts of my package and have no idea what happened to it. GLS's poor service and lack of responsiveness have left me deeply dissatisfied.

"Hands down the worst courier service to…"

Hands down the worst courier service to ever exist and I have had issues with quite a few. So this issue arises from my mother who ordered an item and she got no message or no call and was at home all day and lately its been non stop rain and her package was thrown on the steps at the front of the house in the rain in the countryside. This has happened with numerous packages I have ordered from them also and they drop packages off in random shops. Is anyone accountable for this? And why do the courier drivers never call the person they are delivering to when the number has been provided? Heres my take on it, so over the course of Covid a lot of delivery drivers were hired and unfortunately under the hiring process with GLS a lot of idiot scumbags were hired and most of them can barely spell their own name so they don't give a toss about the packages so they just throw them around and I have even heard of many delivery drivers being abusive towards customers. When I even see a GLS van it fills me with rage. A truly rotten courier service with absolutely rotten delivery drivers and I hope some day this company ceases to exist.

"Good Experience with GLS"

Have to be honest, and give credit where its due. Thanks to the Limerick GLS, team. Package handed over to them yesterday, and Delivered to the Door today. Full tracking from GLS Cork. It wasn't thrown over a wall, or dumped on the road, or left at the wrong address. It was left safely by the door by the driver who probably did knock, but I was on the phone. Timely and accurate delivery. Thanks GLS Team.

"Unreliable"

went with GLS instead of DPD, however looks like they will not be our choice going forward as well. times of delivery are nowhere near 2 to 3 working days. Dropped our parcels to the pick up point and it is almost a week and they haven't been picked up yet. Rang them twice already and we were told the driver would get there. We will wait another day and will be requesting a refund if not picked up. Unreliable service for sure.

"Another disaster from GLS Cork"

The parcel was on the van for a week because the driver said he didn't have time to go to me with one parcel and he didn't have anything to deliver next to me. Every day the parcel left the warehouse and returned to it in the evening under the pretext of traffic jams. Customer support claimed that I would definitely receive my parcel today because what was they supposed to tell me? A few years ago I liked GLS, now when I have the opportunity to choose another carrier, I do it. Unfortunately, the seller only had GLS as an option. This isn't the first time I've had a case where drivers don't want to go further than the city. it would be best if all people lived on the same street to the GLS warehouse, then the driver wouldn't have to go too far so he would not get tired.

"The lowest possible standard of service"

My experience with GLS Limerick was horrible.
Driver failed to do the job and delivered to a local shop without any communication to me.
I only realised the item was “delivered” when I tracked it.
I complained to the company and following this the driver rang me, abused me and threatened me.
My impression was that the company only hires the lowest class of people possible, not to be name calling but a complete Scumbag.
Also I was shocked at the total lack of respect and privacy the company had for me by relaying all the information I gave them back to the driver.

"Disappointed!"

I put my truck ID in your site on February 6th, around 15:30 a.m and there was a message "The Parcel  has been delivered on 06- Feb-2024 on 16:06 o' clock."
( Which was 30 minutes in the future)
 I was in my home the whole day, I went outside and my Parcel wasn't there, even though I gave you detailed instructions about my home address in a email, I don't know where it was delivered, if it was delivered but I can tell you it wasn't here.
I don't know what to say, after asking for more information, and I think I provided more than adequate information about my address, I literally described the whole neighborhood. Even if the driver could not find the building you had my phone number and could call me!!
