"Overpriced rubbish and lack of service"
Overpriced rubbish and complete lack of customer service. A faulty item was delivered and when we emailed to report it heard absolutely nothing for a week. After five attempts we finally managed to speak to someone on the phone, who sent through a returns procedure that included a £10 for collection of the faulty item, despite the fact it cost £5.95 to be delivered originally, and their website states that returns of faulty items are free. Instead of the inevitable back and forth and lack of refunds (as many many others have reported on various review sites), we decided to repair the item ourselves. DO NOT buy from this company...unless you want a whole world of pain and lack of responsiveness. I am just glad we didn't purchase a more expensive item as our first experience with C&C. Incidentally, we cater found the exact same item for sale on other sites for 50% of what C&C were charging...

"Consumer rights breach - faulty goods on arrival not refunded"
If I could give zero stars, I would. This November, I purchased a pre-lit tree and three garlands. When they finally arrived, the tree was faulty ~70% of the lights went out. One of the garlands was faulty - the garland is not connected. I immediately sent Cox and Cox customer service photographs and asked for a resolution. Together these items cost £250. Cox and Cox have offered a £60 "good will" voucher. I then requested a refund (for the tree) and a replacement (for the garland) - since the items are faulty. Instead, Cox and Cox offered a £150 voucher. I asked for a call, which they agreed to but did not make. They did not answer emails for 5 days and have now offered a £150 voucher again... This is a breach of consumer rights.

"Order still not sent out 16 days and counting"
Saga of the missing Christmas tree topper ordered 30.11.24 and status still saying awaiting picking at 30.11.24. 16 days and counting to pick one small item off a shelf? I asked for a refund if the goods were not going to be delivered. So far I've not received the order or a refund. This is customer service at it shabbiest and I will not be ordering from Cox & Cox again.

"I purchased 2 very expensive pre-lit…"
I purchased 2 very expensive pre-lit Christmas trees from Cox & Cox. I had to wait 3 weeks for delivery. When they finally came, one was perfect, the other had a foot wide strip where the lights didn't work. After 3 days of trying to get in contact with them, I finally received an email where we went through a ridiculous exchange of me asking for a replacement and Cox & Cox trying to convince me to accept ever increasing discounts and finally, a completely different tree all of which I refused. They said they would collect the tree and then issue a refund. I explained that as it took at least 2 hours to straighten the branches and assemble the tree, the collection agency would have to take it down before removing it. I received an email from Cox & Cox confirming that a 'platinum' collection had been booked and a date for collection was given. On the morning of that date, the agent both called and emailed to say that they only remove pre-packaged items and nothing had been notified to them by
cox & cox. I have emailed the courier company and called and emailed Cox&Cox to confirm when the huge tree sitting in the middle of my floor might be gone but nothing. Cox & Cox are aware that I recently had a knee replacement and that this is hugely inconvenient. For a company that considers itself 'high end' it is completely unacceptable.

"Customer service apalling"
Customer service is about the worst I've ever experienced i felt no one listened to me or was very helpful.
My order of candles for a very special event was made on the 20th November items in stock when I placed the order .
The event has passed but I'm still currently waiting for the candles to arrive we are now on the 15th of December.
No update no apology no candles I will never use this company again disappointed

"Hassle from start to finish "
I ordered a bench which was said to be in stock. I immediately started receiving spam almost daily but received no update on my order for over a week. There is no telephone number on the website so the only way to contact them is via email, which they took over a week to respond to. Delivery finally happened about two weeks after I placed the order. I received a total of 7 messages and emails from the delivery company with inconsistent delivery windows and the delivery itself was about 3 hours after the window confirmed as accurate. After all that, I unpacked the bench and several parts were damaged. Just all hassle from start to finish.

"I placed an order for oak stools 14…"
I placed an order for oak stools 14 days ago. I phone 7 days after the order was placed and was told it would be dispatched within 1-2 days. The order number shows still awaiting picking. The Customer Service person did not indicate there was any issue with my order. I am extremely disappointed as they were expensive stools.

"One star is too many"
One star is too many. Still waiting on a number of items purchased three weeks ago and cannot get hold of customer services for love nor money. The one item that did arrive was terrible quality. It was an expensive item so I would have expected much better. Spend your money elsewhere
