"The boiler was fitted in a day "
The boiler was fitted in a day by the professional and efficient engineers.
The Improveasy staff were very helpful and kept me fully informed throughout the process.

"Really Impressed!"
After reading some negative reviews we had a very positive experience with our team of fitters led by Kayhon who was obviously a highly experienced heating engineer. He discovered that after taking out the old boiler we would be left with a hole in the brickwork and he went out and bought bricks and did a very professional job of repairing the hole. His team were very hardworking, everybody was busy and quiet and the plumbers worked til after 7pm making sure the heating fired up. We also had some insulation added to our attic by the loft guy, who discovered we had literally no insulation in the sides of our dormer. Fans were added to control humidity in 3 rooms and valves replaced on all radiators. Each trade introduced themselves to us first and explained what they were doing. The house and drive was left tidy. Perhaps we struck lucky with our fitters but our experience was a very positive one.

"IF there were negative stars that's…"
IF there were negative stars that's what I would rate. This company have been more than just incompetent and useless, they are unprofessional money-grabbing liars. The saga began in the autumn when they came to fit the insulation. They came and changed all my extractor fans to ones that are permanently on to prevent a build up of moisture once the insulation is in place. All good with that. However, one of their hands had not spoken to the other and when they turned up to fit it, this contractor did not know there needed to be an extraction first. Without the extraction it would cause terrible problems for me down the line. Luckily I knew, so the insulation was delayed. That was in Novermber, and we are now at the end of March. The extractor fans work fine. They extract on a 24/7 basis every last particle of heat from my house. Over the winter with the heating AND a woodburner going at the same time I was just about able to get it up to 16 degrees. Most of the time it was 13 degrees. So I have been paying to heat the outdoors, which is neither good for me or the environment. I now have a house considerably colder than when they started, and I see no attempt from them to sort it out. I call them regularly. They tell me they are unable to get through to their contractor. I mean how useless do you have to be to have the people you employ not to talk to you. For 4 months. Either that, or they are just plain lying. Make your own mind up. But this is taxpayer money that is being used. This company is being financed by the government to do a job, and they do not seem capable of doing that.

"Remember. They are in this as much for themselves as for you."
We received a visit from Improveasy, who were promoting the Ofgem ECO4 scheme. Their enquiries showed that we qualified for a new heating system. The wheels turned quickly and, after a site visit to assess what would be the best system for the house, we were offered radiators as the solution. It was interesting that this was not one of the options shown on the pamphlet we were given showing what savings might be made. A timetable to do the work was then set-up. Two things to note here: we were told that it might run into a second day; it ran into a third during very cold weather that left us without gas heating or hot water. We were informed that on the first day, one set of workmen would arrive in the morning, and the gas fitter would arrive in the afternoon (when they'd gone). They both arrived in the morning! One of the first quotes from the fitter was that it was a 'massive job' for which neither he, nor the electricians fitting the fans, had any prior knowledge of the floor plan of the house which seemed unbelievable! The upheaval was huge. Carpets and floorboards were torn up, existing tiles and facia around the old boiler ripped out (and not replaced, of course). It was a tip for 2 and a half days. It must be said that the gas fitter worked tirelessly and appeared to be very good at his job. However we have ended up with quite a few obtrusive plastic conduits on the walls, as the existing pathways could not be used due to the presence of asbestos (we were told). Then it was over! But has it worked? A trial period lasting 36 days has just ended after which I could compare things against the previous energy readings I had taken up to when the old system was taken out. We are using more gas by .70 of a unit per day - not surprising as more rooms are being heated than before. The good news was that our electricity usage dived by over 10 units per day! We used to use electrical heaters in the rooms not well heated by the previous warm air system. There have been two drawbacks. First, the living room is still heating poorly because the radiator fitted is not big enough for the room (hinted at by the fitter). Second, the boiler does not heat the water very quickly, and you could waste a lot of water waiting for it to do so as the pipes are under very high pressure. If Improveasy had made a follow-up courtesy call, I would have mentioned this to them, but they have not been in contact at all since the job finished. Not checking that everything had been done satisfactorily made me think that they might only be interested in collecting their commission from the government for implementing the arrangements, or am I just a cynic? Still, it was free, so I shouldn't complain, and I like the fact that the new system is so much more controllable, such as the programmable heating schedule for the day. In conclusion, I would say that if you are approached by this company in connection with the Ofgem scheme, don't take everything they say at first hand, and be prepared for disruption.

"Drivers left vans in dangerous position on the pavement"
Two of their drivers left their vans entirely on the pavement and dangerously on a junction corner.
They were asked politely to park on the road (there are no yellow lines) and they ignored the request.
Children cross at this location, parents are with prams etc... and they now having to walk on the road in the morning and afternoon.
This anti-social behaviour by their team does not reflect well on their company brand.
Had no reply via email or phone call back from the company either to get their drivers to be considerate to members of the public and move their vehicles.

"Atrocious customer service"
We had a boiler fitted last summer by Improveasy. Six months on it is leaking water and leaking over an electric socket. Contacting Improveasy was not easy and eventually we managed to talk to Harry Khan who said on Monday that he would get an engineer to call us. This has not happened and we have had to call every day to chase it up. Today we spoke to Harry Khan again and he gave us the engineers number. We called the engineer and he said he could not help as he was in Manchester! We have been passed from person to person and had to do all the chasing No communication from Improveasy what’s so ever. We are getting anxious about this and wondering whether it will be fixed. Very very poor customer service and we are no further. Can anyone from Improveasy help????

"From the start of my customer Eco 4…"
From the start of my customer Eco 4 journey to the conclusion with replacement boiler and thermal store tank. I witnessed a highly professional and cohesive team at their best. Friendly and efficient from Back office Staff, thank you Lauren & Danielle, not forgetting Harry from Customer Relations who afforded us regular contact which made the whole process run smoothly. A big thank you to the Installation Team; Kayhan & Reza who worked tirelessly to completion leaving everything clean and tidy. And last but not least George the Electrician (Top Man) who speedily and expertly recovered one or two electrical issues. Overall worth every (Star) Very happy customers who would not hesitate to recommend (Improveasy Installs Ltd).

"Just excellent from beginning to end "
From the beginning excellent service, thorough survey followed quickly by confirmation the job could be done even in my old stone house with very thick walls. The whole team - plumbing and electrical - were experienced, hard working and everything was well done. All working now and so much better than my old oil heating system.
