Garbage, liars, fruad. Don't walk - run.

They play middle man, and send dangerous, rude criminal like movers to take your home goods, AFTER they upcharge you even if you're UNDER the space of the ORIGINAL estimate.

"Liars, Scammers, No Integrity!!! THEY WILL ROB YOU!!!"

I just called the Cancellation Department of this "company/business" (even though I cancelled over a month ago), from a hidden "unidentifiable" number... When someone picked up (it was a male) he said: 'Please call from an identifiable number the next time you call' and he hung up on me. This is, yet, another alarming red flag by this "company/business." What typical, run-of-the-mill company/business makes a to-do over calling from a hidden number? What -- Are they screening the calls? I called them, once, before from a hidden number (on the same phone) and the rep that assisted me made no mention of there being some sort of policy that hidden numbers would be unaccepted.

I spoke with a Mark and was given the same run around. This phone call was my 3rd attempt at resolving this refund issue and, yet again, I was dished out the same script. From August 2nd to today, September 14th, these scammers still haven't refunded any money.

I implore you, DO NOT do not go to Gold Standard Moving and Storage for "business" because they're not a business/company. They are legitimate scammers.

This fraudulent company doesn't deserve a single star.

On the 1st of August, I conducted business with this company (Gold Standard) and paid a discounted portion of the estimate... Over the next 24 hours, I increasingly felt uneasy about moving forward with this company. So, I called other moving companies and they, practically, laughed in my face in answer to their question of which moving company I was (at that time) using. Unbeknownst to me, this company (Gold Standard) has a very poor reputation that follows it.

The Customer Representative, that I had the displeasure of conducting business with, is an absolute scammer by the name of Brandon Collins (if that's even his real name). This liar has no integrity whatsoever...but you'll soon learn why. He emphasized, several times, that he could be [easily] contacted: 'just call me directly'... But, of course, when I did so, this lying coward couldn't be reached. His mailbox was (and still is) full, preventing me from leaving a message and he never replied to the email(s) I sent.

It is now August 25th and I still haven't gotten my money returned to me. DO NOT EVER in your life DO BUSINESS WITH 👉🏾 Gold Standard Moving and Storage 👈🏾.. If you love/care about yourself and others, DO NOT BRING YOUR OR THEIR BUSINESS TO THIS UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY. THEY ARE CON ARTISTS. I discovered (after the fact) that their Customer Representatives are a bunch of brokers. And don't fall for any seemingly "good" reviews on this company, they are few and far between.

Check out the reviews for this company on Yelp. Upon posting this review, I'm heading over to BBB's website and reporting this company; but, while glancing at their webpage as I type this, I see that there's already "Current Alerts" on this [despicable] company. However, I'm still going to fill out a report and, hopefully, they will soon get shut down. This company is robbing people of their money and [reportedly] their possessions. These are very difficult times and it's only going to get harder. Please heed my advice and don't give these liars your business. I don't care if you personally know someone that can vouch for them -- it's a matter of principle, at this point. They have and are cheating innocent people of their money/belongings. That can't and shouldn't be supported. Also, I'm clicking the "thumbs up" on every poor/one-star rated review.

"Gold Standard is only interested in taking your money"

Gold Standard is not a company I would trust to use for moving.

Gold Standard claims that they will handle your move as a broker with trusted vendors they have access to and that they will manage your move and any issues with these vendors.

Our experience so far with Gold Standard has been that they charged us over $3,000 for their “brokerage” services. However then vendor they sent to pick up our stuff has no disappeared. Gold Standard does not want to follow up with the vendor or the insurance company they want us to do that.

Also when you ask what they charged for since they are supposed to manage the move they will give you run around answers. When I asked customer support for a refund since they have provided no services they told me only the retention team could do that. When I spoke to the retention team they said only customer support could provide refunds.

When I asked to escalate and speak to a manager or someone in charge they said there are no managers or anyone in the company who can help with a refund.

From my perspective I paid Gold Standard to send their “vendor” to my house to steal my stuff.

I would never deal with this company again and would hope that others learn from my experience with them.

"STOLE MY MONEY—-BEWARE"

I scheduled a moving service with Gold Standard Moving. They gave me a great rate and assured me I would be able to cancel and that my refund would be refunded in it's entirety. Ultimately I decided to cancel. First, the cancelation process was overly complicated, but that's beside the point. In the end, my refund was approved and I signed a document which stated that my refund would arrive WITHIN 12-14 BUSINESS DAYS. I waited patiently. The time passed. I was concerned. I called customer service. I was out on hold before anyone asked for my job number or refund number or anything. After some time I was connected and they informed me that it would take 4-6 WEEKS for my refund to be processed. Apparently the billing department is really backed up. They had no issue taking my payment immediately while I was on the phone scheduling. I have a signed document saying I would be refunded within a specific time period, which has since passed. This is absolutely unacceptable. Who knows if I'll ever get my $500 back. BEWARE. Part of the reason I canceled is I had a bad feeling about the company. So if I get scammed out of my deposit I honestly wouldn't be surprised. I would not recommend this company, it's just not even worth the risk. They also said they'd only take cash or check when they came to pick up our stuff and cash only when they dropped off--kinda weird.

I wish I could give them a zero.
We booked a move over a month in advance, I feel we should have trusted the bad reviews this company has.
Anyways there is no communication at all once you pay the advance, I paid 50% and I got an email with a window period of days for pick up. Today is day 4 they have not showed up or called me or sent an email, no updates
I called the company couple of time and it's the same automated answer that they carrier will get in touch with me, but how?????
Its water of money and time. I wish there could be some legal action on this company.

They would not return my money back.
I reported them to Federal Motor carrier safety administration and to Attorney general of Florida- Ashley Moody

This is Clifford jeanlouis the costumer which you have been ignoring for a month. Of my $1,400 refund is not in my “bank tomorrow” as you keep telling me and brushing me off, I’ll see you in court. You are disrespectful and dishonest. No one should book moves with this company.

"DONT BELIEVE THE FAKE REVIEWS"

Terrible customer service, they hire criminals to pick up your stuff and hold it hostage. You don't know the movers they scrape together until the day of the move so there's no time to vet them. Gold Standard picked a terrible company called Inch Perfect Logisitics, and according to the federal database their license to operate is pending and they are listed as having ONE truck. They have had our household goods for over two months now with no estimate of delivery. It's important for them to take your money quickly but following through with their part isn't important. They don't know what logistics means.
