Being able to try before you buy is essential and Ben answered all our questions delivering exceptional customer service, with no pressure. We were allowed to have as much time as we needed to try different models. We borrowed sample books to ensure we chose the correct fabric in the comfort of our home. We have purchased from Glasswells previously & I’m sure will do so again in the future.

We thought Glasswells would be too expensive for our new carpet and were wrong! Huge range and buying from stock made it cost effective. Extremely efficient personal service; Keith measured in the morning and we had bought the carpet and arranged fitting by mid afternoon. Andrew was so pleasant; no hard sell, felt like old fashioned shopping in a good way!

This is a great store. 'Old fashioned' service in a very positive way - ie staff know what they are talking about, no heavy sales push, great range of choice, nothing too much trouble.

Adrian was really helpful in taking us through the range of sofas / chairs to meet our needs. Leaving us to work out our choice then helping us choose the best combination of fabrics.

The level of professionalism and knowledge of the staff at Glasswells in Ipswich is outstanding. With the purchase of carpets and a sofa was made simple with my needs and requirements being listened to and met. The price is surprisingly competitive for a store with such an amazing reputation with added services being offered (help with moving heavy furniture and removal of old carpets).
Special mention to Jon Edwards in the Flooring Department who doubled as my Interior Designer 😀 Julie Bird in the Sofa Department helped me pick the perfect seating and colours.

Great service provided by Peter Harrison in helping us to choose a new bed, something that's taken months of deliberation, but has finally come to a conclusion. Peter's patience has really been commendable, as we'd peppered him with so many questions. It sounds so simple, but the experience has revealed to me how choosing a bed isn't all that different to rocket science!

I paid a deposit on a chair today 18 April and Adrian the sales consultant was great, as the chair was one on the offer and is supposedly in the country already, hence 3 weeks for it to arrive in store and maybe a week before ready for collection but date on paperwork shows 27th June and that was not mentioned, so until I know when the chair is actually ready for collection the rating is low,
