The Reno 45 is a very good mechanical design CO2 laser. I had some connection issues at the beginning, but there technical support was able to fix this issue.
Monport has really good technical support. They strive for excellence support, I was very happy working with them.

We currently own the 40w, 130w and the 150w. We have good luck with the lasers. They have helped elevate our business. There are pretty good online communities to help learn about these lasers and how to best use them.

Monport is probably a very tiny, very sketchy company that makes low quality lasers for cheap.
I got a special project and needed to get a laser. I had two months leeway. I ordered a K40 Desktop laser from Monport on August 7/2024 (The project started in October). My credit card was charged, but I received zero communications of any kind (credit card was billed, but I didn't even get a confirmation email).
A few weeks later I asked when the laser would ship. "No idea, thank you for your patience." A dozen emails like that later, I asked for a refund. They refused. I talked to the bank. Monport then said they couldn't stop the shipment because it was with logistics and shipping was imminent. Fortunately, banks in Canada are pretty responsive to what seems like potential fraud (or at least sketchy practices).
Two months later I still didn't have my order, but the bank has refunded the charge.
It's been over three months. I doubt I'll ever see the Monport laser I ordered, but at this point that seems preferable (I did order a competitor's laser which arrived FASTER than promised and works a charm).

I have tried to talk to support the just answered the have asked for it internaly nothing since then. Cant say anything about the product but customer service is horrible. I really hate it and feel scammed. No Info about why IT IS taking that long or when the laser will be sent. Therefore 1 star since i couldnt select 0 stars. Still really looking forward to using this.
Update 10.12.24:
The laser still is NOT delivered! I have had communication with the support and they told me it was gonna be delivered within 2 weeks and i got a 200€ refund for my two months of waiting at that point. After that nothing. Two weeks is over by yesterday and i pinged support again. They answered today that it will be another 2-3 weeks without a reason for the delay or what so ever. When i clicked buy on the website there was no special info on delivery time and a week after that it was 35 days. Right now we are 2,5 months in. i will keep you posted. Only order if you dont really need the machine and its just for fun I guess.
