Hi I decided to use autotrader to buy my car with instant cash. Mannheim arranged an appointment for today. Gavin their representative texted me last night and gave me a window for when he would be here and duly turned up at the right time. I have literally just sold them my car for £100 more than original offer in a painless process, money in the bank already, gavin was excellent and the car is sitting in the drive out of the way for collection. Thanks

"Appointment no show"

Had an appointment booked in the afternoon 1pm - 6pm slot and took the afternoon off work to get the car valuate, the guy that was supposed to come over called me at 5:30pm to tell me he can't make it -waisted my afternoon!

He then told me that he had re booked the appointment for a Saturday morning.. I received a email confirming the cancellation of the booking but never for the re booking..

Called them up -it was never re-booked..

Poor service!!!!

"Wasted my time"

Wasted my time. Gave me a reasonable quote based on my honest appraisal of my Audi A3. Came round and spent an hour or so testing the bodywork with a monitor, and a test drive. Final offer was £700 less than original and he tried to tell me there had been bodywork alterations - I’d bought it from a friend who’d had it since new so I knew this wasn’t the case. Also said there was incomplete service history which was blatantly untrue as service only required every 2 years. Complete waste of time and gives Autotrader a bad name.

This was a very Proffesional service from start to finish. I made contact to sell my car, very easy to complete questions and arrange the appointment for the viewing of my car. The representative Liam Thompson arrived on time, completed all required docs within 10 mins. Which if I had gone to Motorway they want you to take photos and print out or photo all docs and service history!. Liam went on a test drive for 10 mins. On return he said the offer I had received via text was the value they agreed to pay. Payment into my account completed within 30 mins, and collection of my car arranged ASAP. Thank you to Liam and his team, would definitely recommend to my friends and family. Thank you Manheim and Liam.

Sold car through AutoTrader who then said Manheim would collect it. I thought I'd sold it however, Manheim came to inspect it BUT then knocked £1,500 OFF the price I thought AutoTrader had agreed to pay?
Its a legal con, I'd be better off putting it through the Auctions myself. 2019 Audi A6 21,000 miles offer price £29,000.
Give manheim a wide berth, or you WILL pay.

Contacted them yesterday via Autotrader. Appointment booked for the next day within 10 minutes of my initial enquiry. Very professional telephone Q&A session. Everything explained in good detail. Ben text me the next morning with ETA. Arrived in the time he had stated. Excellent customer service provided, very professional, friendly and helpful. Quote he gave was slightly less than original but he explained the reasons why which I couldn’t argue with. Sold the car. Paperwork completed online. Money paid into my bank within 20 minutes of agreement being signed. VERY easy and straight forward process! Couldn’t fault Ben. He was very good. Explained the car will be collected within 14 days which I was advised previously. Cannot fault the company and would highly recommend them. Thank you for your excellent service!

"Tried to sell my car to Autotrader partner called manheim"

Tried to sell my car to Autotrader but they wanted my logbook ref number to take expensive private number plate off vehicle before viewing the car. I said I can do this online on the day and didn't want to give ref number as they could take my private numberplate.
They said it was company policy and I refused so not worth selling to them. Thumbs down.
