Scammers!!! I need my money back, $500. This is the date and they still haven't returned my money. What's happening? Should I report them? Never ever rent with these people, they are the worst, you pay for insurance and they charge another one at the office, and you give the refund and they never return it.

It’s FEB 2025 still no resolution to my claim back in SEPT 2024. This company lies and say they will resolve but they never do. I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. I made a booking on Expedia and purchased insurance through Expedia as well. When I arrived to pick up the car, I was told that I could not use that insurance. I asked the representative why, as I have always used Expedia to purchase insurance for all my previous rentals. He insisted that I HAD TO purchase Drivo’s insurance.

We went back and forth for a while, and I then contacted Expedia. They informed me that this insurance is usually accepted and that there was no other insurance option available aside from the one I had already booked. However, I was FORCED to cancel my Expedia insurance and FROCED to purchase insurance through Drivo; otherwise, I would not be allowed to rent the vehicle.

By this point, it was nearing 1 AM, and my frustration grew. I had no choice but to pay for the additional insurance. When I tried to resolve the issue, I was even called a liar. I contacted this company on 4 different occasions and they refuse to come to a resolution. WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN. YOU THEY WILL NEVER GET ANY MORE MONEY FROM ME!

"Drivo automatically charged my credit…"

Drivo automatically charged my credit card for toll fees even if I paid in cash. No one from Drivo told me that I should kept the toll receipt so I can ask for refund. Be careful of this company.

These guys are crooks. They charged my wife for insurance even when we had it and said she got it early and dropped it late. She was up to see her sister dying of cancer they said to bad.. They have been fined in the past and a bunch of us have made a complaint to the attorney general.. Join us!!

HORRIBLE experience from start to finish! I feel completely scammed by this company. First, they kept me waiting for over an hour to pick up the car, and the customer service was rude, slow, and totally uninterested in helping me. Second, the car they gave me had dangerously low tire pressure—I noticed something was off within the first few miles and had to waste more time returning it. The second car had only half a tank of gas, but they assured me I could return it the same way. Then the third car reeked of cigarettes and weed, which was downright disgusting.

When I finally returned the car, they hit me with hidden fees: a ridiculous $76 charge for a half tank of gas—even though that’s how they gave it to me—and a $150 “cleaning fee” because I had a service animal. That’s outrageous, especially since I returned the car in perfectly good condition.

Their behavior is completely fraudulent, and they force you to pay for shady extra fees. Not to mention the cars are in terrible shape, and they push you into buying the most expensive insurance. It’s clear they only care about taking your money, not providing decent customer service or reliable vehicles.

Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs. There are plenty of other rental options out there—don’t let these scammers fool you like they did me!

"Horrible service"

Horrible service. I rented a vehicle yesterday so I could drive home for Christmas. I got full ("premium") insurance--all told they charged me close to $2500. I drove it a few blocks to my apartment. This morning when I went to pack up the trunk, the left rear tire was completely flat. They have told me that they won't cover it, that it's my responsibility, and that I have to get it fixed and pay for the repair myself. I have been trying all day to find a company that can tow this car and fix it. I will be missing the holidays with my family. I can't even believe that this company is allowed to practice business this way.

"Up charge scam"

It was a very unexpected terrible experience. We had to FIND where the Shuttle was. Took an hour trying to find where. Bad experience. All others were at the arrival area. Then the best surprise of all!!! Our size vehicle was said not available and next size up , we had to PAY an UPGRADE Fee of $100 extra!! When I booked it , price is NOT the price we pay. Extra??? That is definitely a bait and switch scam!!! We have no choice but to except it because there was not any Hertz that i normally go to. I will make sure my friends and family will be aware of this company!
