"RMG receive a one-star rating for taking my deceased mother to court.…"

RMG receive a one-star rating for taking my deceased mother to court for non-payment of services charges. She died in 2020, at which point her account was clear. RMG received and acknowledged her death certificate. A protracted transfer of title ensued, partly due to the pandemic disruption, and also the poor response from RMG’s legal department. The title transfer happened in November 2023 and RMG, instead of transferring the property into my name, transferred the account to the previous owner. I was locked out of the system, unrecognized as the owner, and left hanging. In the meantime, RMG took my deceased mother to court in April 2024 for non-payment of service charges relating to 2023/24. There was no communication from RMG and PDC Law were rude and unhelpful. I made numerous attempts to contact someone in authority, but everyone is hidden behind a wall of anonymity.
My issue has now been resolved but the ten-month ordeal was deeply distressing for my whole family. As for my late mother, she never owed a penny in her entire life and I feel disgusted that her reputation has been tarnished in this way. I would like an apology, but communication and customer care are sorely lacking within this organization.
I suggest RMG start by improving internal communications among their own departments and introduce some controls to stop these types of clerical errors and distressing situations from happening again.

"Terrible service for accounts"

What a bad company, I have been billed for electricity for a location not on my property, Tried many times to claim money back, I have now been waiting 4 months with no refund. RMG property manager just states she will be sorting out the issue but this has been going on for so long.

I now received a call from a Stacey Slattery stating that the issue is still ongoing but I should see an adjustment in my balance in two months time, watch this space…

"Property Valuations "

All of the negative reviews about this company not responding to correspondence and their customer service are correct
They are totally unprofessional

But more alarming is they do not carry out fire or risk assessments on the properties they manage or do the bare minimum

This means that your property maybe not mortgageable as valuers will not provide a report suitable for lenders or provide a property valuation

This may make your property hard to sell

They took 8 weeks to produce a letter not signed dated and with mention of property it related to

After many hours chasing I found out the SED team which stands for solicitors enquiry department is one woman on the team that dealt with what I needed and she was annual leave so no one deals with these matters when she is away

Check your property it maybe worthless

"Incompetent, non-professional"

Incompetent, non professional with zero customer services. I raised a complaint about incorrect service charge 8 months ago. Instead of resolving my complaint, they billed me the incorrect amount, insisted I must pay and have now engaged a debt collector. I have sent multiple evidences including extract from contract and laws, but radio silence!

"Total disregard and ownership of the problem "

She never responded to one of my emails or calls. Was always away from her desk when I did call and wouldn’t allow me to be transferred to speak to her. In the end her colleague Lorraine helped. She gave me the landlords details. I emailed him once and he immediately replied - several times.
Chelsea has apparently been chasing him for 3 months without success. My sale has been taken place over 8 months and this information had still not been passed on.
My sale hung on a thread on the day of exchange waiting for this information and it was incredibly stressful and still Chelsea didn’t once call me back or respond to my calls or emails. I was at the end of knowing what else to do until Lorraine gave me pav’s email address. Then it was resolved almost immediately. I was almost pleading on the phone for someone to help. They just said there was nothing else that could be done, that Pav must be in a meeting…I did one email and resolved it. It felt like the worst service I’ve ever experienced. No one took ownership and made it their business to resolve this matter. It was not about an item of clothing or an online order this was my entire financial situation. No one cared.

"Company doesn’t communicate"

Company doesn’t communicate, doesn’t care and does not detail reason why service charge costs are increased. I made a complaint about a final notice charge last year and it took 9 months for them to agree to remove it. This company can’t comprehend the term ‘customer service’ and doesn’t care about leaseholder issues.

If I could rate RMG lower I would.

AVOID THEM IF POSSIBLE. We pay £300+ a year for property maintenance per house on our block. We are one of 80/90+ houses….. a lot of money is paid to them and they can’t even fix our electronic gate that has been broken now for 3 months - it makes life incredibly hard every day just to get out of our house. Absolute joke of a company & keep palming off emails & ignoring complaints. AVOID

"Free parking again"

Free parking again

The RMG issue parking permit to avoid free parking. I have no longer park the car and afraid to get fine in previous month. But I prove it is free again now. There is a gate but it is easy to get in when I turn off the gate switch (just a switch next to the gate). My car plate is VX18 PCO blue one. I have park for several times without issue. It is free of charge. I just park and leave it. A famous place near city center = )
