I've dealt with 50cycles for over 3 years now, having bought tow Kalkhoff electric bikes. Was rather worried buying sight unseen but was very comfortable being talked through my requirements. Best things we've ever bought. Minor niggles and queries dealt with promptly, ie, bits and bobs that we have lost or not understood dealt with patiently by the team Lovely company to deal with. I am very happy with the support and attention I have received recently from 50 cycles. For instance the kick stand fell off my lovely cube 500 and after sending them the photos and the bike number, I promptly received a new stand in the post.

50cycles just replaced the motor on my Kalkoff bike. Dave from the repair shop and Harry from the London shop kept in constant touch with me from the moment they received the bike. Dave identified the problem immediately and then updated me. He then fixed the bike promptly. The the bike was shipped directly back to me. It was exceptional service, high touch , efficient and effective. I couldn't have asked for more. The bike is also running fantastically since it was repaired. Well done 50 cycles team.

I lost a pedal on the way to work and Google directed me here. I was met by Dave who told me that they don't usually do regular bike repairs, but then proceeded to take the bike around the back and replace the pedals with some spares he had. I tried to pay him but he refused any money. Absolutely stellar customer service, once I can afford an electric bike this will be my first stop!

It is not just a 5 star bike but the after sales service is also 5 star.
I messed up twice. Once when I wrecked the front hydraulic brake (and is that not a great feature?) and took the bike in where it was fixed while I waited.
Second, I was having wobbles getting started. I rang and not only was I correctly advised (start in gear 4) which has fixed the problem, but I was phoned back a little while later to see if I was happy. Which I am.
This is a first class bike matched by the service.

"Replacement Impulse motor"
I bought a replacement Impulse motor for my Kalkhoff bicycle. Purchase was straight forward and the motor arrived on schedule. I fitted it myself after some instruction from David Anning of 50 cycles. The job was fairly easy as I already had the required tools. The bike is working well again.
