"Avoid at all costs "
I have over 2k saved with Think Money and wanted to transfer it to my current account. It's taken them 5+ weeks and me having to ring every week and I still haven't received this money into my account yet. This is very concerning, especially when I have a holiday to pay off with this money i’ve saved.

"Help when I received a fraudulent call"
I had received a fraudulent call from someone pertaining to be ThinkMoney. My partner and I recognised this when they couldn't give me the ThinkMoney phone number so I could call them back so I hung up. Was put through to Jamie in the fraud team who helped ally any fears and put a number of things in place to prevent from happening. Although I know I did the right thing, it still makes you feel a little anxious but Jamie was calm, and reassured me of doing the right thing. Great service from Jamie!

"Stopping me from using my account!"
VARIOUS:
My God you are driving me mad. I make purchases online but on certain sites these have to be verified so I go into think money and it states payment is fine and to go back to the merchant where payment is not fine! This happens over and over again! Now I'm having problems signing in, the screen on the app keeps freezing and when I do eventually manage to sign in, my transfers do not work! I have had to re-order 2 new cards this year as I think you have frozen my account and this costs me money! You are incompetent, I need you to stop messing me about, I am 64 years old and disabled, I have tried to ring but you take hours to answer! I am discusted with your service!

"Lost card and no access to the app."
I called thinkmoney as my sister had an issue with her phone and could not access the app to report her card lost, (we are both customers) and spoke to Jamie. He was extremely helpful and empathetic as my sister had explained she was feeling very unwell, he made the conversation as simple as was possible as he was aware she could hardly speak and was very stressed. He resolved the issue explaining everything and which helped elivate her stress. Jamie then offered to call me back as I also had a query on my account and he called me straight back. Excellent customer service, Jamie was a credit to the company.

"Avoid This Bank Like The Plague!"
Well I have hit the final point with ThinkMoney and will once I receive my Redundancy Money be closing my account, and I will never recommend them to anyone!
I have had many issues with this "Bank" over the years, today was the final straw.
Let me give you a rundown of the issues I have had:
1: Inability to pay companies before 7am because "System Issues" would cause the account to be locked for 24 hours.
2: Inability to transfer money to my own account or family members before 7am because "System Issues" would cause the account to be locked for 24 hours.
3: Inability to pay Credit Cards with my ThinkMoney Debit Card, because "Not an English/British" Debit Card.
4: Inability to use the Debit Card on some online stores, in some cash machines, in the "Pay at the pump petrol stations", then they had a "Big Change" and the debit card was changed, and suddenly it could be used in nearly all places, but still cannot be used to pay some credit cards like Barclay Card.
5: "We will ensure your bills are paid by keeping your bill money to one side" although they use better wording, but they are unable at Christmas despite saying they will, take your bill money to one side when you are paid early.
6: Typical customer service call waiting time is over 45 minutes, then you get through to someone you can barely hear because the phone lines are so poor.
7: Constant changes to requirements in order to speak to someone, apparently now you need, your debit card, your account number, your last transactions and the last time you logged into your account before you can speak to someone, because they changed the requirements again and again.
So todays issue, I have been made redundant from work, I have been forced to sell my car, the person who purchased it, turned up today (17/04/2025) and transferred the money to me at 11am, the money today (17/04/2025 18:15pm) is still not showing in my account.
The details have been confirmed twice with the sender, the senders bank has confirmed the payment has been sent and should have cleared, but ThinkMoney are not releasing it to me intentionally.
I need to pay the finance off on the car, and I cannot do that because ThinkMoney have intentionally not released the funds, if they are not released tomorrow (18/04/2025) then I will have to issue a refund for the car which I do not have because of ThinkMoney!
So yes avoid this bank and go to somewhere else.
