Great informed advice over the phone and by email, then very quick and careful pdi on my new bike packed up safely, and delivered quickly to the north west . Thank you !!

"Use Biketart and receive unsolicited spam"

Went to buy a bike accessory from Biketart, but the postage was very expensive for what was a very small part. OK I thought, I won't buy it. Obviously you can't find out the postage rate without handing over all your details. I went back to the checkout and emptied the basket, cleared the site cookies and closed the tab. I'm now receiving unsolicited emails stating that I left something in the basket (no I didn't, I removed it). I also just received and email thanking me for signing up for a Biketart account (no, I really didn't). Their unsolicited marketing is a disgrace.

"Nice site, slow processing"

Nice site with a decent selection. Only criticism is the time to process orders and having them shipped is slow. I’ve placed a few orders now and it’s always at least a couple of days to process them shipping priority has always been 2 days for whatever reason. For example I placed an order with another shop last week at 14:45 on a Friday and it arrived the next day. Thats the kind of service I’d like. If biketart is a small operation then fair enough but it’s something they could work on. Otherwise never had an issue and the correct items have always arrived.

Several purchases now, totally reliable and speedy delivery. I had a problem of my own making, very easy to contact by phone, Biketart resolved it for me straight away, great communication, totally professional and helpful. Would strongly recommend.

"great customer service"

great customer service. First order got lost by delivery company. Not their fault, but rectified instantly and second order came fast. Even told if both orders finally arrived to keep them as spares. (Original order still never arrived tho) But all around great shop

"Custom bike build"

Built me a custom bike. Everything I ask for was no problem to the team. From the parts I wanted and how I would like the bike symbols to line up. Nothing was to much for them. Such a great team. Biketart will always be my go to bike shop.

"Sent a damaged/used item, left hanging for refund"

Consistently poor customer service.

Ordered a few things on the 7th July including a OneUp Dropper post. BikeTart sent me what appeared to be a used post which was missing all the accessories to install with an open, damaged box. Contacted them but they were so slow to get back that I managed to contact OneUp Components and have them resolve the issue before BikeTart had even gotten back to me.

BikeTart tried offering a discount for the used post but didn't offer a refund until I had to request it. The item was received back by BikeTart on the 19th July, I still have not had a refund or acknowledgment of receipt, today is 25th July. Yesterday OneUp managed to deliver a replacement post to me from Canada, this awesome customer service from OneUp really does highlight the terrible service from BikeTart.

I wanted to give BikeTart the opportunity to resolve the issue, unfortunately they haven't. Seems an underlying theme in the reviews. Won't be using them again, cannot recommend them.
