I have recently moved to YGP at 1 of my sites for gas. The changeover has now been completed. This is now 2 sites I have gas with YGP and 1 site with electric. There is no way I would have taken YGP to any site if I had known the problems the company would have caused me. The problem I now have is YGP have been taking the wrong amount for ELECTRICITY at 1 of my sites. This was being collected from me for 3 years by direct debit and they have contacted a debt collection company to now tell me I have 12 weeks to pay backdated money that I thought I was clear from for 3 years. Be careful and aware about this type of tactic. I’m currently waiting on a supposed court date and have also contacted the energy ombudsman. Hope this review helps others.

I’m an incoming tenant where the commercial unit in WR1 1SA was de-energise due ex business didn’t paid their bill. Is a NIGHTMARE and a joke the process , from 11th March I’ve been several times in contact with customer support, emailing change of occupancy team( because yeah, no phone line with them ) and today 4th April the proprety is still not connected and they’ve got full documentation from 19th of March, and the phone line for customer support is the same everysingle time. They all read the same scripts. And the last JOKE was one lady giving me a number which belong to an IT company just to get rid of me quicker , when called back to see with who I was speaking too 4 minutes ago , no records or anything available .
From 19th till now they wasn’t able to notify the national data base ECOS to be able to sign for a new contract !!!! I lost hours and hours with them still for NOTHING

I called to check on the progress of a change I am keen to make to our electricity account. The process has been taking a long time and Edith immediately recognised that fact and offered to take a personal interest in chasing up a response.
