"Buy anywhere but Harvey Norman Botany!"
Noel Leeming or JB Hi-Fi anywhere but H N Botany! After 12 years we will now purchase elsewhere due to the condescending and impertinent behaviour of the in-store manager 1st March 2025. BUYER BEWARE.. paying for set-up and extended warranty will not guarantee you'll receive what you have paid for at the end, when things go wrong. Get any communications for repairs or replacement in writing...do not trust promises made by verbal comms! Thanks, Apple. Your support in trouble shooting repairs and then replacing our item has made this 1 month long tedious experience bearable. The 1 star is for the H N's floor staff excellent upselling skills- a pity the after service is so lackluster!

"While the products seemed to be of good…"
While the products seemed to be of good quality and the staff was knowledgeable, the high-pressure sales tactics were a major turnoff. I prefer a more relaxed shopping experience and won’t be returning

"Worst customer service and expensive rubbish"
I am extremely disappointed with the seats and table:
1. There was NO indication on the advert that I needed to assemble the table. I am unable to do this with my arthritis. I am now left with a very heavy piece of crap in my patio that is useless to me. I paid $1000 for a piece of rubbish to sit in my patio????? Disgusting marketing. HN should be ashamed.
2. Unacceptable service as I ordered this in December and it finally arrives in February. The ad when I placed it did NOT mention such a long wait time. Unacceptable to mislead customers in this way.
3. One of the chairs has a crooked leg!
Really? What's up with that?
I will be needing a full refund for this product.
This is an unusable piece of expensive rubbish. I cannot believe that companies can get away with such exploitation of consumers. This type of business operation needs to be shut down asap.

"Poor customer service"
Purchased 2 laptops and a sleeve around dec 24 from Harvey Norman Mt Roskill. One for my son and another for my daughter as she requires a laptop this year. Went in the store to swap the sleeve for a laptop bag with handle in jan as we were away. The manager bluntly refused to swap stating that we had gone pass the 14 days policy. Such an appalling customer service. Wouldn’t ever buy anything from that store again tbh.

"Good pricing"
Good pricing, willing to "price match" however felt pressured into buying then and there. All round good quality items and knowledgeable staff

"Harvey Norman, Loganholme, management is poorly trained as are some staff! "
It’s hard for the company to improve as really not interested in customers.
Purchased a Food Saver machine, cost $370. Received a gift card of $37, advised no hurry to use, have a ‘couple of years’ . On back of card is 26-12-27. I had to 2026 or 2027 to use. I went to buy a computer, showed the gift card, told no, too bad, that’s expired! I asked for an explanation, advised the written date on back by staff is incorrect. I spoke to manager, (like talking to a child) Brad, manager of Harvey Norman , Loganholme, stated ‘well I wasn’t there, so how do I know you are telling the truth’. So now Brad, the ‘manager’, calls customers liers! Good on you Brad! Great management material!

"Should be ZERO rating! "
If there's a 0 rating here, I'll mark the Harvey Norman Westgate site for their post-sale services/support.
I have been a loyal Harvey Norman customer, spent approximately $20,000 since 2020 on various products without ever having to request a return or refund. However, my recent experience has been deeply disappointing and has left me questioning the level of care and service provided.
I approached the Westgate store regarding a serious issue with a haircare product (a curler/straightener) that nearly caused a burn injury. Despite explaining the situation and the potential danger I faced, my concern was immediately dismissed as soon as they realised it was a personal care product. Their lack of interest in helping and their disregard for my safety concerns were shocking and disheartening.
I fully understand there are policies around returns for personal care items, but considering the circumstances—a near injury and a genuine safety issue—I expected at least some empathy and effort to address the situation (ie. contacting the manufacturer in an attempt to find a solution).
As a loyal customer with a strong purchasing history, this experience has left me extremely disappointed.
I hope Harvey Norman reconsiders how they approach customer concerns, especially when safety is involved. Loyalty and trust should be reciprocated, and customers should not feel ignored or dismissed in situations like this.
Staff should learn basic "KYC" or Knowing your Customer" by looking into their purchase and claims history. Understanding and knowing your customers help you keep your business long-term. Totally disappointing!

"Disgusting Customer Service "
Disgusting Customer Service at the Botany store at checkout. The guy does not allow me to pick up the photo printed for my wife even I have the order confirmation email and my wife's passport. The email clearly states either an email confirmation or an ID to collect. Will never go back to this Harvey Norman store. Rubbish customer service.
