Many things went wrong.
We had called many times there is no one to meet us at the airport. Between 3 adults we would surely notice someone was waiting next to the pharmacy at the airport. Later we found out there were few other parties in the same situation. Needless to say it would be awsome to hear sorry for coming late from the driver. Instead he was aggressive and lying he was on time.
Picking up a dirty car was another disaster. We had to waste another 2 hours looking at every scratch and dent so they don't accuse us of those damages. Shouldn't that be already done by the company?
We had to buy lysol wipes to disinfect the car which was full of food and spit residue. They had no other car for us and it was getting late to get to our 1st destination on time.
Car wasn't performing the best and after few days broke down. We had to drive back to a bigger city to replace a car waisting another day from our trip. And then we found out that this location of green motion wasn't even notified of a switch which suppose to happen. After another couple of hours on the phone, and then the same checking circus, we were threatened by the owner we will have no car and they will give us no money back if we don't accept the car they are offering, which was much smaller then the original car.
Replaced car had no properly working ac so it made the rest of our trip even more difficult in a huge heat wave.
Yet at the end of the trip we found out that our damage deposit which suppose to be held on hold, was cashed. As a results we had received less deposite because of the exchange rate.
It was a nightmare from the beginning to the end. Avoid this company at all cost. They shouldn't provide service for tourist and shouldn't be recomended by booking.com and Expedia etc.

"Attention à votre Caution !!!"
Je ne parlerai que du système de cautionnement a la location d'une voiture. A Santorini Grèce, en Octobre 2024,caution encaissée (806,00 €) dès la location et par un système bien rôdé on évite de vous la rendre au retour voiture, même si aucun litige. Prétexte " la carte que vous aviez présenté au départ ne passe pas".
Alors que cette carte fonctionne très bien, vous n'avez aucun moyen de vérifier. Et par la suite, vous mettez entre 2 et 3 mois pour la récupérer après des mails et des mails. Ne perdez pas votre Ticket de carte et demandez le à la location. J'ai l'habitude de louer des voitures dans de nombreux pays, et les seules fois ou ma caution est gardée en "otage" c'est aux Etats-Unis pour garantir les paiements autoroutes et d'éventuelles amendes. Mais aucune intervention pour la récupérer, c'est automatique. Heureusement dans mon malheur, un Monsieur adorable au guichet de Green Motion Aéroport qui parle très bien le Français et l'Anglais (et d'autres langues un vrai polyglotte) avec qui j'ai pu correspondre au Téléphone et qui a oeuvré pour que je récupère mon dû. Je remercie Green Motion par avance de ne pas me répondre par"Thank you for taking the time to review us bla bla bla " ce fut et ce sera avec cette "Compagnie" ma première te dernière expérience

"Arnaque de l'assurance"
Arnaque de l'assurance. Si vous avez une carte Visa Gold Premier, ils n’acceptent pas que vous preniez leur voiture sans payer une assurance de £50 par jour. Pour une petite voiture, 6 jour, j’ai payé la meme chose pour l’assurance annuel de ma voiture.

"Attention arnaque"
Attention arnaque, ne donnez surtout pas votre carte bancaire, ils nous ont prélevé 40 euros le 24 décembre suite à une location déjà payée au mois d'octobre. Société sur mayorque, leurs véhicules sont pas du tout entretenus, limite dangereux. Leurs locaux sont vétuste, ça fait très peur.......

"Misleading terms&conditions"
Misleading terms and conditions; especially about the theft excess - in the agreement information is about one amount but in the table in the agreement- about another. Would never book here again, very unpleasant experience and attitude towards customers.

"Perfect Service"
I was rented one Peugeot 208 it was a brand new car the pick up it was with a shuttle bus from the airport the guy there waiting me with a smile, he take me to the office and I pick up the car I rent the car for 12 days all goes well when I return guy check the car fast and he return back the deposit and take me to the airport awesome service. Thank u green motion.

"Achtung - Finger weg"
Wir hatten den Mietwagen auf Kos über Dertour gebucht und bezahlt. Schon bei Ankunft war der Mitarbeiter sehr unfreundlich und ungeduldig. Das Auto war auf meinen Mann gebucht, da aber seine Kreditkarte nicht ging, wollten wir meine anbieten. Es war keine Einigung möglich. Wir hätten den gleichen Preis, den wir über Dertour bereits bezahlt hatten (300,00 EUR) nochmal zahlen sollen. Das haben wir natürlich nicht gemacht. Versuche zu einer anderen Lösung zu kommen waren nicht möglich. Der Mitarbeiter wurde immer lauter und zorniger und kam dann auch noch hinter der Theke vor. Wir haben uns dann entschieden mit dem Taxi zum Hotel zu fahren. Nie mehr wieder.
Leider hat uns DER Tour mitgeteilt, dass sich die Firma auf Ihre Konditionen berufen hat( steht wohl unsinnigerweise im Kleingedruckten, was aber keiner weiß) und wir haben nichts erstattet bekommen.

"NEVER EVER! PREMIUM PLUS? FRAUD!"
Wow, what an experience. I am a frequent traveller and I use to rent cars at travel destinations with the biggest packages covering all kind of damages. Usually those companies say "No need to view the car, all minor damages are included in your agreement".
With same expectation i selected "PREMIUM PLUS" package of Greenmotion to travel across Dubai.
First experience I was not aware of is, that Greenmotion is acting as a third party here. So you are actually renting the car at "AL RAIS RENT A CAR" - which means new conditions, more papers.
By the way, with my two kids I selected two baby seats which are the two extras in the Premium Plus package and I only got one - minor issue.
So with no further option we signed the additional documents with "Al Rais Rent a car" still assuming that Premium Plus package is our all-inclusive carefree package.
When returning the car, the team onsite claimed a scratch (a really minor damage) and demanded a police report. Of course you will not have a police report, when you are not aware of such a scratch and you don't know if someone else caused that scratch. Furthermore that scratch was located at the lower front bumber. So what to do 2-3 hours before flight departure? Sign and go. And then it happened, an excess amount of 1500AED was charged although Greenmotion is advertising with 0€ excess amount.
Conclusion: I can warmly recommend Greenmotion if you have strong nerves on additional paperwork, consider that the Premium Plus package is not a carefree package, and very much patience as my case has a duration of 3 month already :)
Recommendation: Do NOT rent here!!!
Regarding the reply of Greenmotion: Contacting the email I did already - but your Customer Service doesn't want to understand the issue. As there are so many similar cases i can just agree to the previous rewiews: FRAUD!

Update to the response below: Guys, just imagine you are returning the car and the team onsite is claiming one of the many scratches. You did not do any damage and a third party, it could be a cat a bike driver or something else, caused a damage somewhere at the lower part of the car. Now what magic to do to have a police report the rental company here is demanding even though you have the Premium Plus package - the most expensive one which should cover everything - just like other companies do. And that is why I want to warn you guys. This is a common way to steal the money from you. Just scroll down and read some more reviews!

A fuir. 3 mois que nous attendons le remboursement de la franchise 500€ pour une poussette au feu rouge que nous avons subi. Malgré plusieurs relance, je pense contacter l'avocat de la belle-famille à thessalonique.

"Avoid this company!"
In the first few days of my car rental on Rhodes, one of the tires was vandalized (it appeared to be cut with a knife). I called the company for a replacement, and while they did come to fix it, the process wasn't handled very professionally — the first tire they brought didn't even fit the vehicle.
At the end of my rental, I was shocked by the charge: €356 for a single tire replacement. Considering this was for a basic car (a Toyota Corolla Hybrid), this price seemed unreasonably high.
Additionally, the condition of the tires when I received the car was concerning. The front tires were in terrible shape: they were worn, full of cracks, and had pieces of rubber peeling off. When I asked the company representative if they considered it acceptable to put such tires on a rental vehicle, they told me I should have mentioned it when picking up the car. I understand that, but how is it even acceptable to rent out a vehicle with tires that pose a serious safety risk to passengers? This is incredibly irresponsible.
Overall, I’m deeply disappointed with this company
