"Good overall despite delays at pick up"

I booked Greenmotion Kalamata for a week's car hire through Zest. I got nervous when I noticed the Google and the trustpilot reviews when I was checking the location of the office just before heading to Greece.

Overall I'm happy to say that my experience with green motion was good. The only real issue was a 45 min wait to pick the car up as the office was closed when we arrived for our booking hence why i've scored 4 stars.. There was a number on the door that I called and once the gentleman arrived (and apologised) everything else was straightforward.

The car was well used but all damage (and there was quite a lot) was recorded on the walkaround. The car was safe, started, steered and stopped fine and to be honest I never want a brand new rental car.

We had an uneventful week and return was completely straightforward the 806 euro hold on my credit card has already been released less than 36 hours later

I would use again.

"Oversold, under delivered"

Staff were rude. Car booked was a VW Passat estate; car allocated was a Fiat Tipo. The staff was very aggressive when I questioned that these were not of a similar size or luggage capacity. Length, legroom, boot size are not comparable. These are facts which can easily be checked on the internet. Unfortunately we were in no position to argue (it was 9.30pm as our flight had been delayed, we had a 90 minute journey to make and we had prepaid) but this is rank bad practice of overselling and under delivering.

"NIE wieder Green Motion"

Abholung Flughafen Thessaloniki hat einigermaßen funktioniert wir waren halt 6 Personen in einem Kleinwagen mit viel Gepäck.
ACHTUNG wir hatten eine kilometerbasierte Vermietung und der Kilometerstand auf dem Tacho hatte mit im Fahrzeug nichts zu tun wir hätten die Kilometerleistung schon bei der Abfahrt an der Vermietstation überschritten gehabt, sieht sehr nach Masche aus
Unser Fahrzeug war in der gebuchten Klasse Citroen SpaceTourer verfügbar, das Fahrzeug war in einem ramponierten Zustand innen war der Boden total mit irgend einer öligen Flüssigkeit verschmiert die Polster sehr verschmutzt, soweit aber einigermaßen ok, haben wir akzeptiert, die angeblich erst 37.000 km ? wir haben das Fahrzeug 12 Tage gemietet soweit alles akzeptabel.
Vor der Rückgabe haben wir das Fahrzeug grob gereinigt auf jeden Fall sauberer als wir es bekommen haben, dann bei der Rückgaben wurde uns vorgeschrieben wir hätten eine "biologische Reinigung"? durchführen müßen (eine Reinigung in einem Waschcenter wurde abgelehnt was da genau der Unterschied sein sollte konnte uns niemand sagen, dafür mußten wir dann 124,- EUR bezahlen was vorher niemand gesagt hat bzw.nirgends stand aber wir wußten das was das Zeug bei der Übernahme war irgend ein Konservierungsöl
Die Mitarbeiter bei der Rückgabe waren sehr unhöflich.
Wir nennen so etwas Betrug.

"In allen Kategorien Mangelhaft!"

Wir sind von der Leistung der Autovermietung Green Motion äußerst enttäuscht und können das Unternehmen leider nicht weiterempfehlen. Die gebuchte Fahrzeugkategorie beworben mit Passat Kombiwagen wurde in keiner Weise erfüllt. Stattdessen erhielten wir einen ca. 15 Jahre alten und schlecht gepflegten VW Golf Kombi, der zahlreiche Mängel aufwies.

Folgende Probleme traten auf:

Defekte und abgenutzte Fahrzeugteile, darunter Fensterheber, Kupplung und Scheibenwischanlage
Stark beschädigte Felgen und unhygienischer Innenraum
Vollflächige Kratzer am Fahrzeug und abgegriffenes Lenkrad

Zu unserem Unmut mussten wir die bereits bekannten Mängel bei der Fahrzeugübergabe bestätigen, bevor wir es gründlich inspizieren konnten. Anschließend mussten wir laut Aussage der Mitarbeiter selbstständig Beweise für die weiteren, erst später erkannten Schäden sammeln, da wir angeblich in der Beweispflicht wären.

Wir hatten uns bewusst für ein höherpreisiges Angebot entschieden, um ein mängelfreies Fahrzeug einer gehobenen Kategorie zu erhalten. Dies kann man offensichtlich bei Green Motion nicht erwarten.

"Dårligt!!!"

Dårlig service. Brug dem ikke!!!
Jeg har før lejet bil med mit visakort - og havde i øvrigt også betalt for lejen af bilen med visa kort, men da jeg skulle betale forsikring måtte det kun være kreditkort. Mit kreditkort fejlede, og det betød at jeg skulle betale 170 euro i ekstra forsikring (jeg havde i forvejen tegnet forsikring og var også forsikret fra min egen rejseforsikring) Jeg fik forhandlet ned til 150 euro, men på kvitteringen stod der 130!!! Jeg havde betalt 100 euro for leje af bilen - og de ekstra 150 euro blev ikke tilbagebetalt!
De snyder penge fra folk... andre selskaber kan sagtens trække pengene fra et debit kort.

"I came to the car rental place and they…"

I came to the car rental place and they would not let me take the car I booked as the wanted a deposit fee. This is understandable however should be mentioned once purchasing online. They then proceed to ask for £1700 which is around €2000. Complete joke. The staff are also very rude and didn’t help at all. Complete disgrace and would not recommend anyone travelling to Athens to get a hire vehicle.

Two weeks ago we hafd some trouble with our car in lefkada and we needed a car for the day of repair.

"Aereoporto di Atene"

Aereoporto di Atene. È una truffa, non date la vostra carta di credito a questi mafiosi. All'aeroporto ci hanno fatto attendere un'ora, Prima cosa, avevo noleggiato un suv e mi hanno dato una Skoda Felicia piena di graffi,ci hanno detto che la nostra assicurazione copriva i danni alla carrozzeria ma senza dirci che c'era una franchigia di 1000,euro. Alla consegna ci hanno letteralmente sequestrato se non pagavamo 650 eur. Avevamo l'aereo. E abbiamo dovuto letteralmente pagare un riscatto per andare via e non perdere il volo. Ci hanno rovinato la vacanza, la signora all'ufficio era rossa in viso e non ci guardava negli occhi sapendo cosa stava facendo. Credo che andrebbero arrestati! E sicuramente non finirà qui,ma andrò per vie legali a costo di rimetterci ancora.

"Beware, they are scammers "

Although my experience concerns a trip to Finland, I have a duty to publicly denounce the unacceptable and predatory policy that I believe is applied in all countries where this company operates. With this company, I had the most unpleasant experience of my life. On a recent trip to Finland, I rented a car for a week. I returned it normally and without any damage. A few days later, I received an email stating that a small scratch was found on the lower part of the car's bumper. The spot where they claimed this small scratch existed was not visible and one would have to bend down under the car to see if it was there. Of course, I denied that this particular damage was caused by me, but I didn't pay much attention to it because it was negligible damage to the car. Unfortunately, I didn't know I was dealing with fraudsters, and a few days later I was notified that repairing the small scratch on the LOWER part of the bumper cost 1147€, which they immediately took from my credit card. I warn you, they are ruthless thieves and they will find any way to take money from your card like common fraudsters. I feel that I have been ROBBED from GREEN MOTION... stay away from them because you will only have problems.
