Not everything went as expected with the service and there was some tweaks I needed to make myself when it was returned... However, after I communicated this with Have Bike it was delt with extremely well. 10/10 Customer service. Would reccomend to anyone .

Updated Review - since below post, complaint acknowledge and appropriately compensated. Bike returned in immaculate condition and rides like a new machine so cannot fault the quality of the work done
Awful service. This company took my bike over two weeks ago, saying it would be returned within 2 days. They provided some additional work recommendations which I paid for. No update on return time and the 48h window passed. When I asked they eventually suggested the following weekend it would be ready. That has now passed and follow-up email they said it would be returned yesterday. It has not been returned and no further comms. I have treated it expressed that I am riding the ridelondon (in 4 days now!) and as it stands will not have a bike. They have currently stolen my bicycle

"Abysmal communication"
The bike service was great. However, the communication was absolutely abysmal. When I booked my bike in for a service and then had the results of the assessment to say it needed new parts, not once was there a mention of a delay in receiving the parts and the knock on effect of a delay in returning the bike to me. I had to message 3 times before I was actually told that there was a wait for the part to be delivered. It felt like I'd paid for my bike to be stolen. After 9 days I was eventually contacted to say the bike was ready for return. I gave details of work numbers and of where the drop off driver could park to return the bike to me. These weren't passed on to them and the driver ended up lost at the other end of my work place.

Very good experience with the company, pick up and collection was very efficient and they provided a narrow time window which is helpful. Communication was proactive and whilst my bike needed a lot of replacement parts they got through it pretty quickly. Will definitely use again, my bike feels brand new.

"Critical brake failure 2 weeks after a "disc brake service""
A frustrating experience: I had to chase for a refund after I was overcharged to the work carried out; and I had to chase to get my bike back after the work was complete (they had it for 6 days in the end). I had a lot of work carried out, including a deluxe service and a disc brake service. It looked great on return, but on a ride 2 weeks after I got my bike back, the brake pads in my rear brake simply fell out. Very disappointing to experience such a major failure on a safety critical component so soon after having my bike returned. So I've paid a lot of money for a full service, and end up with a DIY brake replacement because I didn't want to hand my bike back to them for another week to look at it again. I certainly won't be using them again.
I'm grateful to HaveBike for responding to this review. Their suggestion that I received a refund for the brake service is incorrect (although they did refund the original overcharge), although it is fair to say that I have not gone back to them following the brake failure to raise this with them directly.

"Appalling communication when they want to change delivery"
Good service but communication is appalling. Couldn’t deliver bikes on day arranged as they had too much work on. They said they would deliver the next day instead, so we changed our day to wait in for them but the bikes weren’t delivered. No communication at all. No apology for the inconvenience that they had ruined our day off. Will not be using again.
