I just received my bike back today and found the service excellent and very seamless. Booking was easy, pick up and drop off was done on the time window advised. A big shout out to Thanos for dropping off the bike. He was so friendly. I will definitely use the service again.

The only reason why I'm giving them 4 stars is because of the price. I spent the same amount as what my brand new bike originally costs from Halfords. There were a lot of additional parts to be fixed plus the service charge.
Customer Service - It was superb, though I called 2x to ask about any additional repairs they left me a voicemail for, no one picked up the phone. No big deal, I was not in a rush.
Bike looks fantastic, very clean and pristine looking. I am a very happy customer. I would recommend it to everyone who's far from a repair shop, busy and wants an easy and smooth transaction. Pick up and delivery has no issues.

"Way easier and quicker to use your local bike shop"
Customer service is some of the worst of any UK company I have dealt with in years. They effectively have no telephone option (just try) and do not answer calls. The assessment of my bike made it clear Havebike have little knowledge of bikes (issues were suggested that did not need doing). I was over-charged £30 which took 9 emails and 7 unanswered phone calls to get back. They maybe trying hard but it's way, way easier to use your local bike shop unless you are in quarantine or bed-bound.

I would not advise using this company if you are a Brompton user. Their service is sub-standard.
HaveBike are a small company, and they make it very clear when emailing you that they are still in search of and keen for seeder funding, but their internal communications and logistics are appalling. I have written to Brompton separately cautioning them of HaveBike's services.
HaveBike did do a good service of my Brompton, and it was delivered and picked up on the day that they named, but that is where my praise finishes. They did not read the instructions for service carefully. Their USP is convenience of delivery, but they can only assign you with a half-day window. HaveBike's pricing structure appears fair, but they charge a significant premium on parts in addition.
They did not listen or respond to feedback. They changed some of the parts without my consent or knowledge. They overtightened a clamp and cross-threaded it. They have refused to replace or refund it. When I queried the workmanship of their brake fittings and they agreed to review the bike, they replaced with a worse product and did not refund the difference, despite me paying for a premium upgrade. When I noted that they had attached the pedal incorrectly, they replaced it instead of refitting it and tried to charge me a further £45. They arrived at the wrong address for drop-off which took up to an hour out of my day.
One positive is that they will provide you with a temporary replacement bike when yours is in service, what they don't tell you is that it is electric. HaveBike did not explain this to me, and when the replacement bike was dropped off, they did not give me the battery pack. Thus rendering the bike painful to cycle due to the low seat position and heavier.
In summary, none of the working parts of this company seem to communicate. Email, phone, website, logistics, delivery, customer care, phone handler. This has meant for a very expensive and very stressful experience, not once, but twice when trying to rectify their mistakes.
I am still missing caps for my tyres and HaveBike have not sought to offer a resolution to this issue.
I have been waiting on a phone call from one of the senior team, and it has not happened.
Update -
I received a phone call from one of HaveBike's directors - on the day that was arranged - who clearly and effectively outlined the situation and the miscommunications.
We have reached a resolution. And I was impressed by his professionalism and honesty.
I am satisfied that as a young business they are honestly taking on board feedback and working hard to create a positive customer experience.

Easy to book, good communication throughout. They were very clear about what extra work needed doing, what it would cost and checked for approval before carrying it out. One issue (damage caused in transit) was reported honestly, apologetically and a resolution offered (replacement new part) with no quibble or prompting. Will use again.

Really good service. Easy to book on line, bike was collected when they said, the engineer rang and talked through the repairs/upkeep needed and the price, the bike was delivered back on time. My bike looks and runs good as new. Couldn’t ask for more.

The service is excellent - my bike was picked up by a very polite guy, and then I was texted and emailed every step of the way as my bike was processed.
