"First rate job on repairing and…"

First rate job on repairing and servicing my bike, friendly and enthusiastic at all times - especially Barbara who collected and returned my bike. But there was a massive delay on securing parts required and communication regarding the delay could have been better. However, I shall certainly use have bike again.

Don’t waste your money or more importantly time!!!!

2 day turnaround promised. 7 days later bike returned in a worse condition than it went. Very poor and inferior parts used but top prices charged. Wrong wheel used, took 3 months to arrange pick and fix. Bike is still in poor condition and chain put on the wrong way. Do not use this company they are absolutely beyond incompetent.

When the bike was eventually picked up they didn’t know what needed fixing and didn’t have any of the components. No communication, poor customer service and way to expensive.

Will have to get it serviced again as they have done such a bad job.

"Absolutely first class service"

Absolutely first class service, full of friendly support, patience, and problem solving.

My wife and I left the country in March 2021 two days after sending our bikes to HB for a service. Unexpectedly, a two week trip turned into a two month stay. Pippa arranged for HB to keep hold of the bikes until we returned, patiently understanding our ever-more-delayed return. She was extremely supportive and made sure we were regularly updated with what was going on without ever putting pressure on us.

Likewise James (who returned the bikes today) was extremely helpful. He called an hour before arriving to make sue the slot still worked, changed his parking spot to the most convenient location fo us, and talked us through the paper work (even referencing that he'd been interested the bikes for a few weeks given they'd been in storage for longer than usual).

The company threw in an additional check on the bikes this morning for free, just to ensure they were all good given the original service was 6 weeks ago.

I can't recommend Havebike highly enough.

Excellent service! The driver who collected and returned my bike was very polite and friendly. I needed lots of replacement parts and labour on my 2nd hand bike but it was great that I didn't need to worry about it-they rang to confirm I was happy to have the extra work, and still got my bike returned to me in a convenient time slot (within 6 days). Highly recommended! I will be using Have Bike again next year for my bike's service.

"Glorified cleaning service and poor customer…"

More like a glorified cleaning service and poor customer service.

Such a great idea but poor execution. I paid £89.99 for the deluxe bike service of my road bike to find that when I had received my bike back all they had done was cleaned it and even that was poorly done. You could still see the tape on my seat post, they left a piece of glass or stone in my front tire that they had not been removed and left it in the gash in the tire. There appears to be zero service completed on the bike and as I previously said, only cleaned and the clean was as pathetic as the service.

When I raised this to customer service they said they raised it with their director then simply never got back to me. It seems to be £89.99 wasted.

Such a great idea but one that needs to be ran by better staff. You’re better off paying for the guys at your local Halfords to do it than wasting your money here. I would love to get a refund and I’m sure many others would to but good luck getting through to them.

I’m not one for bad reviews but I couldn’t not on this occasion.

EDIT: Upgraded to two starts from one.

I did receive an email from the CEO who rectified some of the above where they did organise for my bike to be collected for a further service to make up for all outlined above and replaced my damaged tire free of charge, which was great.

They did however not call me to let me know when they were going to redeliver my bike so it was a good job I was in at the time they did deliver it and I am still awaiting for my £18 refund from the original order even after emailing again to customer service about it.

Although it was good that they attempted to rectify the matter, there are still issues with the refund and I would unfortunately still stick with not using the service again. As I said in my original review, I think its such a good idea and a service I wanted to be great, but there are still too many issues when using it and therefore I would still stick to not using the service again

Great company! I haven't got any problem with the company. Everything went well. Perfect collection and drop-off on time. I am very satisfied from the work they done to my e-bike. I recommend to everyone.

My first time using Havebike. Service has been excellent and kept informed with respect to repairs, extra costs and timing of repair. Daniel was incredibly courteous on the phone and the collection and drop off was perfectly on time. The bike was returned in a spotless condition. Would definitely be a returning customer!

So glad that I found this company! Fantastic customer service from beginning to end. Barbara who collected my bike and Theo who returned it were wonderful. Polite, friendly and professional.
