"Fish cakes"

Fish cakes. What have you done. They were the best fish cakes from every supermarket, now they are bland, tasteless and the outside colour/mix is just horrible. Shame

"Under staffed"

Under staffed, checkout staff always stacking shelves, big queues, only 1 self checkout working and to top it off the prices are extortionate, over twice the price for belly pork compared to Lidl.£5.86 for 450g of Belly pork, ridiculous. Stokesley needs another Supermarket to put the Co Op out of business.

"No help from co-op for lost membership card."

Having lost my co-op membership card and not remembering my 18 digit membership number, I tried to contact the co-op for help.

Both of the phone numbers available to contact the co-op have the same answer machine message, which is that they have gone digital and all help must be found online.

They texted a website address to me which I had to copy into my laptop as my mobile is not connected to the internet. This took me through online form-filling which asked for my membership number, so was no use to me.

Then I tried to log in and as I have not previously accessed the co-op online, I had to create an account. When I gave my name and address, the system said I was already a member so I should use my membership number to access my account. After several attempts to get through to ask for a replacement membership card, I gave up.

My opinion of the co-op has sunk drastically - that they follow the modern, "advanced" approach of not being able to talk to real people on the phone shows they care nothing for customers or for helping with problems.

I think membership of such a complacent organisation is not worth what it once was and I am not bothered if I never find my membership card or number.

"Shocking service with apalling attitude of both members of staff."

Waited 12 minutes to be served.Cashier serving couldnt care less about the que snaking round the shop.She rang the bell THREE times for help..No turned up.No apology from the member serving..Eventually another member turned up....No apology for waiting...She said I was on my toilet break...Totally unacceptable service from both staff members..

"I made the mistake of joining the Co-op…"

I made the mistake of joining the Co-op and paying £1 memership. I have a local shop and wanted to benefit from some of the deals. However, my membership wasn't the correct one, even though the website stated that I could get discounts on my shopping. The membership I needed was free.
When I emailed them to cancel my membership and get a refund, they didn't even have the decency to reply.
I realise it's only £1, but it's the principle and imagine how much money they are making by mis-selling this.

"Donaghadee a small town and…"

I live in Donaghadee a small town and have always shopped in my local co op,
I dont drive so shopping locally is essential and I like to support the town but today I went in and it was the last straw, the staff are lovely hard working people and I'm sure they are sick of complaints, everytime I go in the products I use have gone up 10p or 20p or sometimes by more. In the last year some items have actually doubled. I know prices are going up but not as much in other shops. I will no longer be shopping or ordering deliveries from my local co op as I can no longer afford to, very sad, co op used to care about the local community, not anymore.

Our local Co Op is actually very good. They stock some local produce, the shop is always clean and tidy and the staff are very helpful and polite.

"My delivery didn't arrive"

My delivery didn't arrive. I called and was told the driver was sick. Fair enough but no one contacted me to tell me. Second time this has happened
